This gem of a place to stay is hidden in an unlikely area of Fresno. The place is sparkling clean and a great, quiet place to stay. The full-sized fridge is SOOOOO nice. I was particularly impressed by the staff though. During our 6 night stay EVERY employee we came across was GREAT. They took care of our requests quickly and with a smile. What was extra nice is that their attitudes seem to be absolutely genuine. Kudos to Sonesta ES Suites in Fresno for a great stay!

All staff members I interacted with were friendly, and helpful. My room was wonderful! Fully stocked kitchenette, very comfortable bed, desk, couch, large shower. All areas of the hotel were clean. I felt safe outside and in.

Had a two-bedroom suite with kitchen for three nights and it surpassed expectations. The bed was very comfortable. The bedroom furniture and sitting area furniture were solid and comfortable. It was cleaner than expected with the exception of some food debris and empty bags left in kitchen cabinet/drawers (a minor thing for us). Both bedrooms had a private bath which was a wonderful surprise for us. One bathroom was a normal hotel bathroom but the other had a nice tiled walk-in shower with glass doors. There was no daily housekeeping service but that was fine with us for our short stay. I was pleased with the room and would stay at this hotel again. Noticed a few quirks but nothing that would cause me to recommend a different property: No luggage racks One guest found the central air conditioning fan noise to be loud in the room that contained the return (and probably the cooking unit). The filter looked dirty and replacing it would probably lower the noise level, and turning fan to low helped. I would prefer to see the thermostat have an Auto Fan option that turns the fan on only when needed but instead the fan remained always on. In the other bedroom a window was not fitted quite right and left a gap between the sash and the window. They had caulked the gap but it still let extra noise in from the parking lot. Upon entering building a few times we smelled pot smoke on 1st fl... someone may have been smoking in their room or just outside. 3rd fl was okay.
