Quiet 2 Bedroom Cottage With Water View Of The Sou'West River

Situated at 7 Sou-West Lane in Long River, is this cozy three-season water view cottage with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. This cottage is located at the end of the street in a very quiet cottage subdivision that has spectacular views of the Sou'West River.

The master is upstairs with a queen bed, desk, ensuite (stand-up shower), and walk-in closet. The second bedroom is downstairs which has a bunk bed with trundle (3 twin beds). The main bathroom has a tub/shower combo.

There are 2 heat pumps for air conditioning in the cottage - one in the main area downstairs and the other upstairs in the master bedroom. There are also convection/baseboard heaters in the bedrooms and bathrooms.

There is wifi and satellite TV. As for appliances, there is a stackable washer and dryer and the kitchen has a fridge, stove, built-in microwave, and dishwasher and Keurig Coffee Machine.

The floors are tile and wood - pine in the downstairs bedroom and maple in the living room and master bedroom- so no pets please!

Just a 5 minute walk away is the river where you can launch your personal kayaks, and even go for a swim! We suggest bringing water shoes, as sometimes it can be rocky.

Lovely cottage
A really beautiful, clean and modern cottage. The location is a little secluded (some dirt roads) but the property has lots of green space and views of the river. It is very well stocked. The kitchen has many standard items. The bedding was comfortable and there were games and activities for rainy days along with chairs for the beach. Cavendish has a “tourist market” to purchase some grocery items but you will have more options in Charlottetown. We often had dinner at the Sou’west Bar and Grill which was a very short drive away, great fresh food on the river. We did struggle with locking the side door. I contacted the manager at the end of our stay to let them know but we did not receive a response. Great retreat for our family of 5.

Hi the place was lovely and certainly met our needs. It was a clean and modern and have everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was a little more out of the way than we expected. The batteries died in the smoke detector so we left it on the counter with a note. The a/c remote on the first floor wasn’t working so we weren’t able to adjust it. The linens in the main bedroom were pilled/worn so that wasn’t pleasant or comfortable. Expected crisp linens for this type of property. Otherwise a lovely stay.

PEI Wonderland!
We had an amazing week of vacation on PEI, and this property was perfect! It's fairly remote but within reasonable distance of the big things like beaches, amusement parks etc. It has its own waterfront which you can't swim at but is beautiful at dusk and the kids loves throwing rocks and shells during this time. The place itself is new and clean and perfect for our family of four. Hands down this is the BEST stocked vrbo I have every stayed at (and we stay at a few each year). The kitchen has excellent quality pots/utensils with everything you could possibly need. They also had a wagon, chairs, toys and a cooler for the beach. These were all things I thought I would have to get myself! The communication with the property management was excellent. There was an ant problem when we first got there and wishing 24 hours of my message an exterminator was in the place and fixed the problem entirely. All in all it was excellent! The only thing I didn't plan for was that in this area there wasn't really a grocery store close by so I would have stocked up in Charlottetown when we landed. I

Newer build cottage. Pictures are exact. 4 adults 59-69 in our group stayed here. Was clean. Kitchen was the best we have ever come across for pots and pans etc. Very good quality and availability. Beds very comfortable. Air was a bonus as we had warmer weather. Not a complaint as we booked late to get a spot on the island but bunk beds for older people is a bit difficult if staying here. Had a small problem with satellite tv and the management company was very good with communication.
