No more of welcome rum punch for arriving guests. It is advertised at resort website. No more bell boy or any person to help carry luggage to the rooms. Room cleaning every other day by resort new rules. Room mini bar has only beer and sodas. Resort charges for any replacement even club soda. The biggest down of the resort is closing beach bar. It is also advertised in the web site as open amenity. Food is tasty but choices are narrowed mostly to fish and chicken.

The resort and our room were beautiful! Resort property was very clean, we felt safe and the property had some fun views. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was ok but did leave a little to be desired. Not many options available for food and portions were small for lunch and dinner. Bar was small but the drinks were good. Recommend the Pina Colada’s!

We had a fantastic relaxing stay at the escape. It’s such a relaxing place and you really do feel chilled. The chefs really do deserve praise, we never had a bad meal. Ingredients are fresh and we honestly can’t fault it. Portion sizes are spot on. The Antiguan breakfast should be offered more regularly than just once a week. The waiting staff are a credit to you especially Maxine, Maudrina and Charles on the bar. The island picnic is a must it’s amazing. Just somethings to note. Reception is open 9 till 6 We did try the steak & lobster (only half a lobster is what you are served) one evening which you do incur a surcharge for. We didn’t mind paying this as we had supposedly got 20% off food with our VIP EXPEDIA Perk. Sadly this was not the case when the bill was queried on the day before we left. We were informed that it was only on the food experiences that you can have in your room. Which we found incredibly strange as you would think it would be off the menu in the restaurant! Sadly this did get our backs up. When it was mentioned to Randy that this should have been mentioned before. We felt it was brushed over and that’s how it is. We did enjoy having a spa treatment each and that was also very relaxing. Again we did have to flag up the 20% off spa treatments which was included in our stay luckily there was no arguments on this one. We did seem to have the garden room that was next to where the staff seem to go in and out of a lot. Which can be quite noisy.

Our room was on the bottom floor so we didn’t get the scenic view of the water like we would’ve liked but the room was still great. The cleaning staff was very nice and the pool was so nice and clean and very warm. The biggest downside was the seating in the dining area. The seats were not made for larger people and it made it for a very uncomfortable time trying to enjoy your meal. I think they should provide seating options with no arms for those on the larger side.

We came to Antigua to celebrate my birthday and stayed here for the week. The dock was probably the only thing worth raving about as it had a nice view of the bay. The resort is very far and tucked away. If you want seclusion, complete silence and darkness by 8pm, this is the place for you. There is nothing, absolutely nothing to do in this area past sunset. Their pool closes at 6pm and their bar is supposed to be open at 10am but there’s usually no one there. The front desk staff are no where to be found when you need them (we couldn’t even check out since no one would be in until 9am) we used the same wet beach towels for days because they “ran out” and I personally feel beach towels should be something you always have stocked given that you are a beach resort? There is no room service. And they give you one bottle of water during your entire stay, in which they ask you to keep and refill at the lobby. The food was okay. You had to make reservations every morning for lunch and dinner otherwise, you wouldn’t eat. There were a lot of ants in our bed and I was bitten up every night. One of their kayaks has a hole in it so be careful if you use one. Luckily we didn’t sink in the middle of the ocean. Overall, the staff were unhelpful and unpleasant. Everyone acted like we were a bother and the only person that ever smiled and had a good attitude was Maxine. For the amount money that we paid to stay at this “all inclusive” resort, it was not worth it at all. Wouldn’t recommend

Room was exceptional. It was such a nice touch to leave us an anniversary message on our bed! Priceless! We did feel like it was slightly inconvenient that there was not always someone at the front desk. We had to find someone a couple of times. Overall, it was an excellent experience and we would recommend to anyone!

The room was lovely, however they only did housekeeping every other day. Towels were limited because of this. Food was limited and menu was limited for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you missed any of the times to eat you would not be able to eat as the place is very secluded and there was no way of traveling out unless you booked a taxi 24hrs before. The staff was pleasant but could be more hospitable and helpful. If you asked questions the answers were very limited and didn’t really help much. Another issue was that the concierge service was only available for certain hours. If you had a question or perhaps emergency past 5pm you won’t find anyone to answer questions. Overall views were beautiful and pool attached to the room was very nice.
