SINGLE FEMALES BEWARE! YOUR SAFETY IS AT RISK AT THIS PROPERTY! On July 24, 2025, I checked into this vacation property. Unfortunately, due to being a dual sport family, my husband and son were unable to come with us. At the time of check in, I was greeted by the owner and his dog. As a dog lover, I did not think much of it until the dog would not leave me alone. Constantly sniffing and humping me with no correction from the owner, I was quite uncomfortable but attempted not to be rude. The owner never acknowledged his dog’s behavior as poor or tried to discipline the dog. The owner explained where things were at and walked me around. The whole time acting as if I was not capable of taking care anything. BIG RED FLAG HERE…as the owner is showing me around the property inside, he points out that the door near the bathroom connects to his property that is simply locked to his residence. No way to securely know that he would not enter the property as well as I had no idea that the owner was staying on the property and that the attached property I was staying in had no security from his residence expect a deadbolt that he has access to which my understanding is in violation of VRBO Shared Space Rental Policy. Again, attempting not to be rude as I was by myself at check in and my child. This only allows me to post so many characters, please feel free to reach out for more details regarding my stay including the owner not allowing me to leave his property. Terrifying experience.
