Acceptable room but bed let it down.

I can never understand why the beds have duvets with no cover- just a sheet which moves when you sleep so an unwashed duvet inner ends up touching your skin with no clean duvet cover as a barrier. This seems un hygienic! As you are there to sleep I think bed comfort is key- the mattress was past due replacing. Dipped in the middle and could feel the springs. I don’t think that is acceptable.

While it was close walk to city centre and the staff were polite and friendly, the greyish white linen was very off putting, makes you wonder just how clean they are. The jug that had been put away in the cupboard was coated in a oily coating, presumably from someone frying, just a little icky. The room was nothing like the pictured room when we booked.

Our massages were cancelled that we had booked and the cafe is closed until June (this information was not available when we booked). Very disappointed as these were two things that made us choose to stay here. The room was lovely and clean and it was surprisingly quiet.

Our stay at BK's Premier Motel in Palmerston North was pleasant. The room and dining area were nicely set up, though we expected it to be slightly nicer. The bathroom was the highlight of our stay. We only stayed for one night, but it was clean, efficient, and spacious enough for our group. We appreciated the utensils in the kitchen. Although there were no elevators, and we had to haul our heavy luggage up and down the stairs to our second-floor room, it was manageable. The motel was very accommodating with a smooth late check-in, and overall, it was a good experience.

Room was very tidy and really clean on arrival. Did smell heavily of men’s aftershave thou which was a bit of a turn off. Location was great for getting around and food choices. Parking was even better.

Needs a massive upgrade. Bathroom was modern but everything else was tired and stained or worn. Room opens straight onto the carpark with minimal privacy as you can see through the sun-filter curtain. Hardly ever anyone at reception. This motel was recommended to us so it was disappointing.

Stayed here before on the second floor, rooms seemed newer and cleaner. This time we are a party of 4, they allocated us a room on the ground floor, while hallway had a musty smell, room is dated and not as clean. The coffee machine had stains at the spout, would be great if they could give it a wipe.
