A very bad experience at the time of reserving my room for my stay there was no mention of the renovations taking place . At the front desk when I paid for my stay the front desk did not inform me that the television service was not working and no phone service in my hotel room. The lobby was a construction site with the floors covered with brown paper and sheet rock dust and other debris associated with any construction site. In all a very bad experience and I would not recommend The Comfort Inn at Joint Base Andrews , Clinton MD 20735 to any one

The hotel is undergoing renovation, so any reservation for a king-sized room was downgraded to a double room instead. This would be a minor issue if I had been communicated about this. The manager said they attempted to contact me, but my phone number wasn't transferred from Expedia's booking. System errors happen, so I understand, but there were no further attempts at communication. When I arrived, the receptionist did not notify me of this change; I had to find out for myself when I walked into the room. The price of the stay was the same, thankfully, but I'd still wait until renovations are done or avoid altogether. Water pressure takes about 5~10 minutes to heat up for a shower. If you book a stay while they are renovating, I recommend downloading some shows or movies; the wifi wasn't working. Again, I wasn't notified about this issue and had to ask the front desk about it. The majority of my concerns would have been handled from the start by communication. The room itself is fine and clean, though I had to plug in the fridge. At least I know it's new! There is limited parking due to the construction, but during my stay, I never had an issue finding parking. The elevator looks a bit outdated due to cardboard covering the floor for renovation, but I have honestly felt unsafe in worse, so this one is good. I still took the stairs when I could. Overall, this is a 2-star stay, and I recommend looking somewhere else.

This place was going under renovations, with construction all around, dusty and dirty and very limited parking. The staff was not helpful at all. I requested a king-sized bed room and was given a queen-sized room instead without explanation.

The hotel was under renovation and this was not advertised. The bed was dirty. The hotel was dirty. The ice machine was broken. There was no microwave in the room. The front entrance was closed but the back parking lot was closed so you had to park in front and walk to the back. There was dust everywhere.The blanket was just a fleece throw. This was the worst hotel I every stayed in. Would not recommend!

They Can Do Better

The staff wasn't the best, the first room they gave us appeared to in an area for transit people, dirty and dingy. Once we switched rooms it was better but I'm not returning there. I've stayed there before a few years back and it was in better shape, but I had a room on an above floor. This time I had a ground level floor. Either way, I'm not returning

Don't waste you time or money here😡

The hotel is old and out dated. They are also small. 1st room smelled like "marijuana" and was dirty and unclean. Went back to the desk to request another room, the 2nd room was just a hair better than the first. The room smelled of stale smoke and they charged $145 a night and NON Refundable cancellation.
