When we arrived, the house had not been cleaned. Beds were unmade and piles of dirty towels on the bathroom floor. Cleaners arrived very quickly and were extremely apologetic and cleaned the inside beautifully. However, it delayed our use of the house by about 2 hours. The host offered us a partial refund but so far we have not received anything.The outdoor area was a mess. Someone came on Monday morning and spray washed the windows and blew away some of the mess but it didn't help much. It also meant another 2 hours of us not being able to enjoy the property. Screens on the windows and doors were ripped. Cushions for the outdoor furniture were dirty and torn. Carpenter bees were invading the soffit of the house. There were lots of them and sawdust was all over the ground. The website photos showed 2 umbrellas outside but there were none. When we asked for one, we were told that they no longer provided them because they kept being blown away. We were not able to sit outside after about 10am due to the sun and heat. We were told that the screened in porch was where we could get shade but we didn't want to sit inside. The hot tub was clean and comfortable and in the shade. The beach was a mess.Would not recommend, especially to families with children who thought they would be swimming in the lake.
