Overall very nice hotel and room.There was some loud speaker sound from the bar area that could be heard from our room.The room had a great bed and shower.I liked the eating facilities at the hotel.The hotel was situated in a great area.

No hot water

After a 13 hour drive and arriving late after 8pm and having a late dinner, it wasn't till after 10pm that we discovered there was no hot water and no one around to raise the alarm,didn't notify reception till following morning. Response was "we will let maintenance department know" after pressing the issue, was offered a $50 refund that never eventuated.

Mattress was way too soft. I was afraid all night that i would roll off the bed. Dod not sleep all night. Left a day early and went home to get a good night sleep. .

Big room with updated on suite. Looking out over disused roof space for below hotel/pub facilities but better this way as no noise to speak of if you were positioned overlooking the main road out front. Very clean. Good comfortable queen bed. Only a short walk to the main beach and great breakfast at the local surf lifesaving club at the main beach. No hotel parking but plenty of angled parking across the road. Police station next door so I would not expect drunken behaviour during the night.
