NOVEMBER SPECIAL OFFER! "La Nana" is a delightful house in the green in the heart of the suggestive Gulf of Gaeta. Colorful and original in furnishings, it is equipped with all comforts (air conditioning, independent heating, indoor parking space ...) and a large and well-kept garden, with gazebo, where you can sunbathe or have lunch and dinner.

By type and size (living room, kitchenette, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom) it is suitable for 4 people but, if necessary, it can accommodate up to 6, thanks to the comfortable and practical sofa bed in the living room.

Valeria is a great host, very friendly and responsive. The house is indeed right on the beach and is very well equipped. The restaurant next to the house is excellent and very cheap. Clear benefit from being away from touristy towns. There is however road noise behind the property.

Super seaside location, comfortable stay and lots of local interest

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely stay in Formia. The beach is superb and the location is good for exploring Lazio and Campania by car. The property is comfortable and well equipped and Valeria, the host, is most attentive and helpful. Formia, itself, is an interesting town but visits to Naples, Amalfi, Sorrento, Vesuvius, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Casserta and Gaeta are all possible and worth doing. Taking the train from Formia to Naples is a recommendation rather than using the car.

Casetta strategica a due passi dal mare

Casetta curata con una ampia porzione di verde e a due passi dal mare. Basta letteralmente attraversare la strada è si hanno stabilimenti attrezzati e spiaggia libera. Non plus ultra il parcheggio interno e la disponibilità della proprietaria. Peccato per il gran caldo che non ci ha fatto godere appieno del giardino. Unico neo: alle spalle della proprietà una strada trafficata che di notte da’ un po’ fastidio a chi ha il sonno leggero

In einem wunderschönen Garten liegt diese Ferienwohnung in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Sandstrand. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist zweckmäßig und ordentlich. Das Bad, besonders die Dusche, ist beengt, Bad und Klo sind nicht getrennt. Im Garten sind einige Katzen beheimatet. Das hätte ich gerne vorher gewusst. Störend haben wir den Straßenlärm empfunden, der von der Durchzugsstraße oberhalb des Grundstücks Tag und Nacht ungehindert in den Garten dringt. Das hätten wir ebenfalls gerne vorher gewusst. Die Gastgeberin Valeria ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Soggiorno ottimo

Abbiamo allogiato dal 7 fino al 15 di agosto la villetta è come da foto molto curata nei dettagli e con tutti i confort necessari (come asciugamani, aria condizionata, lavastoviglie ecc..), presenta anche uno spazioso soggiorno dove è presente una vetrata apribile che da direttamente al giardino molto spazioso che presenta anche un tavolino coperto dove si può comodamente pranzare/cenare, unica cosa da sapere è che ci sono dei gatti che girano per il giardino anche se noi non amanti dei gatti non hanno dato affatto fastidio dato che sono tranquillissimi e se si fa accortezza di chiudere la porta quando si esce non entreranno assolutamente. La posizione della villetta è ottima dato che soggiornando ci sono varie opzioni in base alle esigenze della persona, dato che si trova a pochissimi metri dalla spiaggia quindi per rilassarsi e godersi il mare o se si preferisce si può andare a visitare sia Roma che Napoli dato che vistano circa 1 ora e mezza in macchina o in treno (la stazione è facilmente raggiungibile), per trovare un po di vita la sera basta raggiungere la pineta a piedi dove si trova un bel locale sempre frequentato o con 10 minuti a piedi raggiungere il centro di gaeta ove si può passere la serata facendo una bella camminata nel centro fino al porto o rilassarsi in uno dei tanti locali, per quanto riguarda la disponibilità di Valeria nulla da ridere una splendida persona sempre pronta ad aiutare in caso di bisogno, appena arrivati ci ha spiegato subito tutto quello che dovevamo sapere dell'appartamento togliendoci eventuali dubbi ed consigliandoci anche ottimi ristoranti dove poter degustare una pizza o del pesce. Un ottima esperienza in un ottimi ambiente, consigliatissimo !

Formia is a nice secret

We were pleasantly surprised by the area and our VRBO experience/location made for a great four off-season days. Our hostess, Valeria, couldn’t have been more helpful from start to finish. Born & raised in the area she can provide all the tips for local as well as day trips. Locally Gaeta is a nice spot w/a lot of attractions or you are walking distance to the train station for easy trips to Rome or Naples.

Straßen- und Strandnah

Wir haben die Adresse ohne Probleme gefunden. Das Gartenhaus liegt in 2ter Reihe hinter der Villa der Vermieter, leider ohne Sicht auf das Meer. Der Weg vom Parkplatz zum Haus ist nicht befestigt, so dass im Dunkeln und bei Regen Vorsicht geboten ist. Auch möchte man nicht in die diversen Katzenhaufen treten. Privatsphäre ist im Garten leider nicht gegeben, da man ihn voll einsehen kann. Am Wochenende abends/nachts nutzt der Sohn des Hauses mit Freunden den Garten auch gerne zum Rauchen und da wird auch mal gegen die Hauswand uriniert... Da in nicht einmal 30 Meter Entfernung die Hauptstraße Formia-Gaeta SR213 vorbeiführt, kann man sich im Garten kaum unterhalten. Garten und Terrasse sind für ruhesuchende Großstädter nicht geeignet. Die Ausstattung ist für 2 Personen ok, die bunten Fliesen täuschen über das winzige Bad, die alte Couch mit Schonbezug oder die Plastikstühle im Wohnzimmer hinweg und machen gute Laune. Auf Dinge wie Salatbesteck, richtige Weingläser oder Tassen für Milchkaffee muss man leider verzichten: Tassen haben wir dann gekauft ;-). Allergiker sollten wissen, dass mehrere Katzen im Garten und, wenn man sie lässt, auch im Ferienhaus unterwegs sind. Was uns sehr gut gefallen hat, sind die wenigen Meter zum Strand und zur Pizzeria nebenan.

Tolle Unterkunft, bestens ausgestattet, schöner Garten und super Lage direkt am Meer.

Wir haben 5 Tage in der schönen Unterkunft von Valeria und Simone ( beide sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit) verbracht und uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Waren mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln unterwegs mit unserer kleinen Tochter, ging alles super. Absolut weiter zu empfehlen! Vielen Dank für alles Valeria !

Grosszügige komfortable Ferienwohnung in Meeresnähe

Die Wohnung ist grosszügig geschnitten und gelungen eingerichtet, die Ausstattung entspricht völlig der Beschreibung. Der grosse Garten steht einem zur Verfügung, die Zitronen frisch vom Baum sind herrlich. Ein kleiner Supermarkt und das Postamt sind in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Fuss erreichbar. Auch eine Auswahl von Restaurants sind zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir waren in der Vorsaison dort, das Strandleben hatte noch nicht begonnen. Valeria ist eine unkomplizierte Gastgeberin. Bei Anliegen wurde uns rasch geholfen.

Nice and cozy place near sea

The house is clean and comfortable. The sea is just downstairs, several restaurants and cafe in the area, grocery in 100 meters. In the house yard there is a lot of space for children to play. Valeria is very nice and helpful. It was a great pleasure for us to stay at her house.
