You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Vintage Cabin with enclosed yard, well stocked Kitchen, Spa and Huge Sunny Deck.

Located along the Russian River between Guerneville and Healdsberg, this home will allow you to get away from it all while being close to all the things you want to do. Walking distance to Mother's Beach. Just about two miles from the nearest wineries and a short drive to Healdsberg or Guerneville.

With two bedrooms and two baths the home is ideal for two couples but will sleep 6 comfortably, 4 in two queen sized beds and 2 on a fold out air mattress sofa or 2 in a daybed with trundle located in the master (best for kids). We are limited by the county to 6 guest.

There is a gourmet kitchen with electric appliances including a dishwasher that is well stocked enough you can cook Thanksgiving dinner.

We have a 6 person hot tub on the deck under the redwoods and stars at night.

Internet/Wifi is strong and was clocked at 258Mbs with Mesh Router that reaches the far ends of the deck.

When reserving the property, please let me know something about your group and why you are visiting the area.

Please note there is a small owners unit on site below the house you are staying in and it is occupied at the will of the owner, has a completely separate entrance and will not intrude upon your experience or privacy above. Also there is no central air conditioning but nights are usually cool and we do provide fans. We do have a Nest Cam that covers the parking area

In the event that due to circumstances beyond either of our controls (fire/pandemic/etc.) and we are not able to host you due to county or state orders, we will fully refund your stay per the VRBO agreement if you are inside the cancellation window. If it is too close to your stay, we will refund the cleaning fee and 1/2 of your stay. We will hold the other half as a credit towards a future stay of your choice when the home is available.

Redwood Retreat was exactly what I was looking for in a family getaway.Great gated yard, beautiful deck with a multitude of seating options. Redwoods growing through the deck, a beautiful mural surrounding the hot tub. It was just charming.The owners have thought of everything and it’s incredibly well laid out for a vacation rental. Beautiful kitchen that has most everything you’ll need, toaster/counter top oven in addition to a nice range. Coffee maker, hot water kettle. Nice refrigerator with ice maker! Beautiful views and the light in the place is great.Incredibly comfortable beds, nice size bathrooms. Another deck on the backside between the bedrooms.Cable tv, wifi and a great electric started gas fireplace. Games, brochures for area attractions, close to the beach actually with just a short walk.Brett was easy to communicate with and we would come back again for sure.

Cozy House Nestled in the Woods

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at this cozy home surrounded by trees and nature. The setting was peaceful and private, just what we needed to unwind. Nature and Wine Lovers Hideaway

If you love majestic Redwoods, quiet surroundings, well appropriated accommodations that are cozy and charming with close proximity to amazing Vineyards, this rental will not disappoint! We prefer uniquely different properties for our vacations and this "Upscale Vintage Cabin" fit us perfectly. The cabin size was ideal for our group of 4 with two full bathrooms - a big selling point if your traveling with non-family vacationers. But the best feature is the amazing outdoor space with a deck that was built around the majestic redwoods on the property. A wonderful place to relax after a day of adventures.

Forestville stay March 2025

My wife & I came to Forestville to visit her sister (obviously my Sister-in-Law), her husband & their menagerie of playful pets. We found this beautiful location about one mile from their place, great find. It also happened to overlap w/ our 23rd wedding anniversary & the owners were gracious enough to leave us a bottle of local bubbly in the fridge for us to toast & enjoy. Great home, super cozy & a beautiful location. Going forward we are going to base our trips to visit Forestville based on the availability of this home. Thank you for a great experience, we will be back.

Awesome Redwood property

This is our second visit to this beautiful home in the midst of the redwoods with a beautiful deck, hot tub, and fire pit close to wine country, and great restaurants. Brett was a great host and very responsive to questions. Will definitely come again.!

Beautiful secluded cabin experience

This was my first VRBO rental, so I was a little unsure what to expect but it was amazing. We walked into to warm soothing fireplace in a beautiful cozy cabin. It's truly like staying in a treehouse. We loved the jacuzzi and fireplace and spent hours drinking champagne and relaxing every night. The cabin also has a wonderful kitchen that is fully stocked for cooking. Many great places to eat and wineries in the vicinity. Owner was exceptional with communication and his house manager was also amazing. We loved it!

Thanksgiving stay

Overall the property is pretty good but I would not call it upscale. The bedrooms were campy to say the least and the effects of dogs were apparent. Also the heating situation is a little sketchy. But on the upside the kitchen is extremely well stocked and the outdoor space and hot tub were great. Also, the property manager was very responsive and helpful with the issues that arose.

There are a lot of places that look good in photos, but when you see them In person, they just don’t deliver. This was NOT one of those places. Had a great time, enjoyed hot tub and beautiful deck with redwoods all around. A bit of a drive to Napa wineries, but worth it!

Great home in the trees!

This place is the perfect, cute little spot for a weekend along the river. Mother’s beach is just a short drive or longish walk. Guerneville is an easy drive. We loved cooking and eating dinner out on the deck! Will definitely book again.

Charming Modern Redwood Retreat!

This enchanting vintage cabin is a rare find! With its perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities, it’s an ideal getaway for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and the Sacramento Valley heat (like us!) The kitchen is fully equipped to cook masterful dinners and you can’t beat the large outdoor deck with huge Redwoods, fire pit and hot tub! The host Brett was super responsive and provided great recommendations for dining, wineries and local things to do. We thoroughly enjoyed this retreat in the heart of the Russian River Valley!

Fun, cozy cabin

My family and I enjoyed our recent stay. The cabin had all the amenities we needed, including a great outdoor area with plenty of shade, and there is lots to do close by. The host was very hospitable, answered all our questions, and made recommendations for places to eat.
