Great house & amazing communication with the owner. Cleaners could do a better job (lots of spider webs, no hand soap in bathrooms, only 1 toilet paper roll per bathroom for our 1 week stay) & I wish we were warned about the very “rustic” streets, but overall we were happy. Would stay again!

Relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings

Family of 7 adults spent 1 week in beautiful secluded Tuscan farmhouse. Great location for visiting the region - Arezzo short drive. Florence Pisa approx. 1.5 hours. Beautiful hilltop villages, olive groves and vineyards. Quintessential Tuscany!

Lovely house with good communication from hosts.

We enjoyed a lovely week in Val di Chiana in this beautiful remote spot. The hosts helped us to find the property when we first got there. The house is great. There were some issues with the water supply but they responded to the problem very promptly.

Large and comfortable and very secluded tuscan country house. Spacious rooms, very good for large families or groups of friends. The house is well equipped. Big garden and pool are strong points for summer stays. Host was always available to meet our needs. We spent great times. Arrivederci!

Great Tuscan hub

Quiet, charming location which was central for day trips to Monte San Savino, Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Cortona, Montepulciano and many other villages in Tuscany. The pool was lovely, gazebo had honeysuckle and other flowering vines surrounding it which was a nice location to get out of the sun. Many olive trees surround the house and we did manage to see a wild boar, many geckos, birds and even a snake.

Great property in fantastic location

The setting for the villa is fantastic, great pool, stunning views and very secluded. The property itself was ideal, well presented and very spacious. the pictures do not do it justice. Valentin was very responsive before the trip, and always available if we needed anything during our stay. If you can drag yourself away from the pool, then Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Arezzo are all within easy reach and well worth a visit. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time! The central location made it easy to travel in any direction. House was lovely, pool was excellent, property was very secluded - yet super markets were only 20 minutes away. Google maps did say we had arrived about 1/2 mile before the actual driveway, but the property sign made it clear once we reached it. We were pleasantly surprised the pool reached up to 6 feet deep in the center, and was plenty big enough for multiple swimmers. The interior was charming, with beautiful exposed timbers, and the bedrooms were sizable. There was plenty of wildlife - but alas, we saw no boars. The host was alway quick to respond and helpful.

Great house - also for winter vacation

We spent two weeks in this house over Christmas/New Year and experienced it as spacious and cozy. Kitchen, living room, bathrooms are well submitted, regarding the beds there is some room for improvement. We especially appreciated that from the house beautiful walks can be taken. Arezzo, Siena and other typical Tuscan small towns can be reached by car in a short time. The access road is a bit rough but doable. The rental went smoothly, all appliances, heating and the fireplace worked fine. We thank Valentin for the always prompt and pleasant contact by mail.

You get what you pay for. The house is new with big rooms & pool was nice. All outdoor furniture, umbrellas & especially the BBQ are in need of replacing. The bathrooms and kitchen were surface clean. The inside of cupboards, some of the dishes, & oven were not. The bathroom brushes, & brooms were very dirty. You cannot drink the water as it is sulphurous & smells very bad. The road to the property is very rough.

The Tuscan Villa Dream

When I dreamed of staying in a beautiful and private Tuscan villa, this property was exactly what I had in mind. Large and comfortable, with a gorgeous pool, secluded in our own olive grove. Perfect for lazing around by the pool, spritzes under the pergola, or short day trips to Arezzo and Siena. The most amazing scenery all around us. There is a mountain bike trail for those that dare to ride in the magnificent surroundings. The villa has a well appointed kitchen and excellent wifi. You won’t want to leave. Valentin is easy to contact and quick to respond, a delight to deal with. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this blissful villa 😀

A very nice place to be

We had a pleasant and wonderful time with eight adults (parents + 6 young people between 20 and 26) in Civitella in Val di Chiana. The location has a nice swimming pool where we spent some time. From the cottage there are many opportunities for walking and cycling to nice places; Monte San Savino, Lucignano and many more picturesque villages nearby. The garden and the swimming pool are neatly maintained every week by the employees of poolgarden. The cottage looks very neat and actually offers everything you need. We like to cook ourselves and there were plenty of things available for that too. Our host Valentin was quick to respond to our questions and get us well on our way. Thank you for the hospitality and opportunity to stay in such a beautiful place. A place that we want to recommend to everyone!

Wir hatten einen super Urlaub in der Toskana. Das Haus ist toll gelegen und man ist wirklich in der Natur mit vielen Tieren (Kröten, Rehe, Wildschweinen, Füchse, Moskitos und Schlangen). Leider ist das Haus etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es sind dringend einige Reparaturen notwendig, der Kühlschrank kühlt nicht mehr richtig, der Geschirrspüler heizt nicht mehr und schimmelt im inneren, die Wände sind teils dreckig, der große Sonnenschirm muss getauscht werden und noch ein paar weitere Kleinigkeiten. Es ist schade, dass diese Mängel während unseren fast fünf wöchigen Aufenthalts nicht behoben werden konnten. Valentin der Gastgeber antwortet immer fleißig und ist sehr freundlich, aber wir hätten uns mehr gewünscht. Generell ist die Ausstattung super und man könnte mit Kleinigkeiten das Haus wieder in einen tollen Zustand bringen.
Ausgetrocknete Pflanzen standen überall herum. Das machte einen verlassenen ungepflegten Eindruck.

Toll für Familien

Alles in allem war es ein toller Aufenthalt.Beginnen wir mit der Anreise: Bitte folgt unbedingt den Anweisungen des Vermieters und hört nicht auf Google oder Navi, sonst fahrt ihr über mehr als enge Feldwege. Nach Oliveto geht es ca. 10 Minuten über Schotterpiste und Waldweg zum Haus. Das Haus:Das Haus liegt wunderschön zwischen Olivenbäumen und Wald und hat einen tollen Pool. Das Haus hat reichlich Platz für 8 Personen und verfügt über eine große Küche. Sonnenschirme und Liegestühle sind vorhanden und beim Pool sitzt man herrlich unter einer schattigen Pergola. Es duftet nach Jasmin und Lavendel.Vermieter:Valentin was ein toller Gastgeber. Er hat immer sofort ,super hilfsbereit und lösungsorientiert auf unsere Anfragen reagiert und Misstände in kurzer Zeit versucht abzustellen. Es war sehr nett mit ihm zu kommunizieren.Schwächen:Positiv, die von mehreren Vormieter erwähnten Ameisen waren bei uns kein Problem. Im Haus und rund ums Haus waren viele Köderboxen aufgestellt.Beim Inventar allerdings besteht, meiner Meinung nach Handlungsbedarf.Bei Ankunft war die Spülmaschine innen verschimmelt und der Kühlschrank nicht sauber. Der Pool war etwas mehr als nicht sauber.Aber. Valentin hat nach Kontakt mit uns sofort reagiert und eine Stunde später war erstmal alles ok.Die Spülmaschine ist aber trotz Reinigung nicht zu gebrauchen da sie nach Schimmel riecht.Der Kühlschrank sollte auch getauscht werden da der Einstellknopf abgebrochen war und nicht mehr richtig kühlt.

Fantastisch!

wat een mooie locatie en wat een heerlijk huis! We hebben genoten en de gastheer is heel erg behulpzaam, net als de tuinman. Bij binnenkomst stond er zelfs een zelfgebakken taart op ons te wachten. Heel heel heel erg bedankt voor de heerlijke tijd die we gehad hebben!

Schön aber mit Abstrichen

Das Haus liegt wirklich fantastisch. Man hat einen tollen Blick ins Tal und ist umgeben von wunderschönern Olivenbäumen. Die Alleinlage bringt es natürlich auch mit sich, das es keine Infrastruktur rundherum gibt. Das ist selbstverständlich kein Nachteil, man muss es nur wissen. Der Pool ist sehr groß, war uns allerdings etwas zu kalt. Das Haus ist groß und hat eine schöne Aufteilung. Ehrlich gesagt war aber alles nicht besonders sauber. Die Spülmaschine ist nicht mehr in der Lage das Geschirr noch wirklich sauber zu kriegen und ansonsten war auch vieles mit Flecken versehen oder anderweitig schmutzig. Schade, da das den Gesamteindruck dieses tollen Hauses leider schmälert.

Wunderbar entspannende Ferien im Grünen

Das Haus hatte alles, was wir uns für einen Familienurlaub wünschen: Einen großen tollen Pool, eine gemütliche Terrasse, eine gut ausgestattete Küche, bequeme Betten,.. Man ist mitten in der Natur, kann aber wunderbare Ausflüge nach Arezzo, Siena oder Florenz machen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war super!

Nettes Haus in totaler Einsamkeit

Wir waren mit 5 Erwachsenen und einem Kleinkind für 2 Wochen Gast in diesem Haus. Die Anreise ist sehr abenteuerlich, aber nach ein paar Mal verliert die Schotterpiste ihren anfänglichen Schrecken und ist auch mit einem Tesla Model Y gut befahrbar. Valentin ist sehr hilfsbereit und organisierte aus der Ferne sofortige Hilfe bei Strom- und Wasserausfall nach schwerem Gewitter. Wie in jedem Ferienhaus geht eine ganze Menge kaputt und hier müsste schon etwas Geld wieder in die Hand genommen werden. Alles in allem waren wir zufrieden und genossen die Zeit in völliger Stille. Erholsame Zeit

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne und ruhige Zeit in dem tollen Haus. Und haben der Pool und die tolle Aussicht besonders gut gefallen. Das Haus ist sehr gut eingerichtet und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Valentin war bei Fragen stets gut erreichbar und hilfsbereit.

Toller urlaub

Im Großen und Ganzen ein toller und gelungener Aufenthalt. EinTolles Haus mit sehr wohnlichem Interieur und ausreichender Ausstattung in der Küche Die Betten waren unfassbar bequem! Der pool war sehr sehr schön und groß und bot genug platz zum schwimmen und spielen. Die Anfahrt ist sehr abenteuerlich. Ein kleinerer Fahrweg mitten durch den Wald. Mit tieferen autos hat der Unterboden eventuell ein kleines Problem. Mit größeren autos sollte das aber kein problem darstellen. Das einzige was am Haus zu bemängeln wäre war die Sauberkeit beim einchecken. Es war zwar ordentlich aber z.B. Duschkabinen und Duschkopf waren echt nicht sauber und die Spinnweben und Staub an der Wand waren auch nicht erst seit gestern da. Aber wie schon gesagt alles in allem ist es ein wunsderschönes Haus und ich kann es sehr weiterempfehlen.

Ruhe und Entspannung

Der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen mehr als übertroffen. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und antwortet umgehend auf Nachrichten. Die Unterkunft selber war sehr sauber und geräumig. Außerdem ist das Haus sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Der Außenbereich mit Pool war ein Traum. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen und würden immer wieder gerne dort Urlaub machen.
