Quaint apartment that served our purposes. We were looking forward to having a balcony to sit out on with our morning coffee, but the balcony is so small that we really couldn't do that. The beds are nice, and the main bathroom is very nice, but the ensuite bath off the master is teeny tiny and I found it difficult to shower in it so ended up sharing the shower in the main bath with my friend. If having two full baths is important to you, then this may not be the place for you. The owners are lovely people and overall we enjoyed our stay. Another word of caution, although this may be true for all of central Florence - it is VERY noisy at night. We had difficulty falling asleep before midnight even using earplugs due to the street noise, and there was also a lot of noise from whomever was staying in the apartment above us.

This was the perfect place to stay for our time in Florence! It was centrally-located down a couple steps from the Piazza del Duomo, and that made all of the main attractions in the area easy & quick to walk to. Even though the tourist activity outside the window is louder during the day (not crazy loud just more noticeable), you’re high enough up that it’s never bad, and the restrictions on car traffic in the area means that it stayed pretty quiet all the time. At night, the shutters keep out the noise, so we never had trouble sleeping. The bedroom over the courtyard is extra quiet if you want an even more peaceful option! The AC was user-friendly and very effective at keeping the apartment a comfortable temperature. Having two bathrooms was a plus too (especially when it came time for morning showers). And another big perk was being able to wash our clothes! That meant we could travel with much less baggage in the first place. And after a day of walking around the lift was a real bonus! There’s plenty of eateries & shops close by, and Eleonora left us some great recommendations for markets to make dinner ourselves. Both Eleonora and Fiorenzo were great hosts, fantastic at communicating ahead of time and even let us check in a little early when we arrived so we could store our bags. The instructions they left for using the provided amenities were very clear & detailed, and they were easy to contact in case we had questions during our stay. We will be back for sure! 10/10!

What a great apartment in the middle of Florence. My wife and I stayed here with our adult daughter for a week. The apartment was very comfortable and very clean. It is perfectly located to enjoy all of the sites of Florence with a well appointed kitchen for cooking at home. The owners were super helpful and responded rapidly to all of our questions. We would definitely return.

Wonderful location near Duomo and walking distance of most sights. The apartment is very comfortable and has everything you need, including very detailed written manuals in English for all appliances and heating system. The host, Eleanora, is wonderful! Friendly, helpful and very responsive to any questions or issues. We stayed 8 nights and were sad to leave!

The hosts were very welcoming and explained everything we needed to know about the apartment. Everything in the apt was clean and extremely comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. Eleanora is the best host! This is our third (fourth?) time staying at this beautiful apartment in Florence. It's so welcoming and comfortable - feels like you're staying at a friend's house. The location can't be beat. Highly recommend, and we certainly hope we'll be back again!

Lovely Apartment, As Pictured, Location Superb & Elevator !!!! Firenze centrally located apartment that is near many landmarks. Excellent restaurants nearby and two food markets are blocks away. You will not need public transportation because you will be able to walk to most of the major sites. It was so nice starting our busy days with a light breakfast at the rental, coming back just before dinner which can be at any of the superb restaurants near Eleanora’s apartment. This apartment is lovingly cared by Eleanora and her husband who use to live there. Eleanora is very responsive to any questions you may have.
The apartment has some beautiful natural wood windows throughout. This was our view from the kitchen window on a full moon evening.

Everything was wonderful. Location couldn’t be better. Very charming apartment, in a very old building but tastefully updated with modern conveniences such as dishwasher and washing machine. Having electric outlets next to both sides of bed is much appreciated. (It’s surprising that this is rare at houses and apartments we’ve rented.) Eleonora, the owner, was organized and helpful.

This is the perfect place to stay in Florence! The apartment is beautiful, well stocked with everything you need, and you can’t beat the location. It’s an easy walk to any attraction, restaurant, or market you want to visit. The train station is nearby and we easily walked there with two small suitcases. I wouldn’t change a thing, and I can’t wait to go back!

The San Miniato apartment was wonderful! It was perfectly situated legitimately steps from the Duomo and was surrounded by shops, restaurants, bars, grocery stores so we had everything we needed at close access. Eleonora (owner) met us at check in and went through all of our questions with us. She and her husband had lived in the apartment before relocating outside of the city and that was clear when you saw how well appointed the apartment was. She had everything we wanted:extra towels, all kitchen tools/supplies, lovely furnishings etc. She had even stocked a few supplies for us so we didn’t need to immediately go out the next morning. (Juice, bottled water, prosecco). We, sadly, do NOT travel light so when we arrived with our luggage and were able to use an elevator to bring it up to the apartment-WOW! It was pretty hot during our stay as well so having reliable AC was also great as was the easy washer/dryer we were able to use while we were there. I traveled with my sister and brother-in-law and there was ample room for privacy while still allowing us all to be together (instead of getting multiple hotel rooms). We had to leave Florence really early to catch a plane and we were nervous that we’d be able to get a taxi easily-I messaged Eleonora and she arranged it all for us! Definitely a kindness that went above and beyond our expectations! I would definitely recommend this apartment and its owners. It was a Great experience! THANK YOU!

Close to everything

We felt so at home from the start. Eleonara welcomed us as her guests. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had many ammenities. It was close to all the sights we wanted to see. There was a heat wave during our stay so having air conditioning was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Florence.

Amazing in Every Possible Way

Our stay in this home exceeded every expectation. Great stay near Duomo!

This was an ideal apartment for our stay with 2 couples. We had large, separate bedrooms and bathrooms, a comfortable living area and a fully equipped kitchen, which we used several times. The washer was especially appreciated and everything dried overnight on the drying rack. We never needed the dryer.Host Eleanora was very thorough during check in and her attention to showing us how everything worked (and a clear instruction book) was really, really helpful. The location is central to everything -- an easy walk to all sites and even the train station. Thank you, Eleanora!

The manager was very thorough and available for checkin and checkout needs. The apartment was located in a convenient, city center area. Elevator made managing luggage easy to the apartment.
