This was a great B&B located on the river. The lobby is very cool- intimate-Florence-niche. The staff was very friendly and there was a very sweet dog named Lapo that hung out in the lobby. The open bar & free water was a huge perk!

Francesco is a fantastic host, best ever, very helpful with suggestions on restaurants and where to visit! Great location close to everything, and the view from our room overlooking the Arno down to the Ponte Vecchio was amazing! Helps also that it’s straight across the river from La Carraia, one of the best gelaterias in town!😋 This pic was the view from our balcony!

A true gem in Florence!

When I made my reservation, I had no idea how awesome this hotel was going to be: room with a balcony and river view; the host was incredibly nice; open (yes, open) bar every day from 5-7 pm at no charge; greatly decorated (a paradise for maximalists), and just a few minutes walking from all the points of interest in Florence. If I ever go back to this wonderful city, this is the place I'm staying over and over.

It did not match the description on the website. There is no bar, no restaurant, no lounge. The lounge is now covered in boxes and stuff, you could not sit in there if you wanted to. The room is so dark and has so much stuff in it, it's suffocating.
