Very nice hotel, rooms and staff. The only negative is the elevator only goes to 2nd floor. Third floor guest have to drag luggage up a very long flight of stairs, so request a lower floor if you can't do luggage up stairs Loved the hotel and staff and rooms.

Historic building, modern rooms

The hotel was great, rooms comfortable and clean. The breakfast and service was excellent too, once we could find the hotel 😂 The entrance was hard to find, there is a large brown door with a small sign on the side and no other indication that its a hotel. The address takes you to the right corner, but number 12 is not visible. I even asked a hotel doorman right across the street and he sent me a block away. Time to buy a bigger sign board or put it on the doors 😇

Such a cool hotel. Very convenient Parking just a couple of buildings down the road. Buzz to enter and the massive door opens to a beautiful set of stairs to the entance. Staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and we were located in the BEST location. We were so happy we stayed here and wished we had a couple more days. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay! We booked 1 room for 4 people (2 adults, 2 teens) but ended up getting 2 rooms. At first we weren't sure but it ended up working out perfectly as the rooms were right next to each other. I loved that the hotel offered complimentary water to fill our bottles. The breakfast was simple, and had everything we needed. If you don't mind some walking, it is a good area to get around to different parts of Florence

Solid hotel choice

Overall a very nice stay in a central location. Spacious room, delicious breakfast buffet, friendly staff. The place wasn’t without a few issues however. We were two people in a room with three beds but they only made up one of them. We had to ask them to bring us linens for a second bed. AC was very noisy and though our room was hot, we had to turn it off because we couldn’t sleep with it on. Also, the mini fridge wasn’t working which we didn’t realize until we went to take out our cheese and fruit and it was warm. No place is perfect so I’d still recommend it.

Save your money and find another hotel

Absolutely not worth staying here specially when you are with luggage.stairs to get to lobby no one to help and then elevator from first floor to second then there are lots of stairs to get to the 3rd floor .
