Room was very well done. Very comfortable king bed. It was clean, quiet, and quaint. Walking distance from everything. All my wife and did was walk around and we enjoyed every moment. Staff and concierge were extremely helpful and accommodating - it was perhaps the best part of the hotel. They never said no. I will definitly come back here when I revisit.

Close to Duomo, very nicely decorated, excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Only thing that we didn’t love was the air conditioning didn’t work very well and the room was a bit too warm for a truly relaxing sleep.

I had to check in late on a sunday night, and I was a bit worried about how it would go, but the experience was fantastic from the moment I arrived. There was someone at the front desk ready to greet me, which was such a relief after a long day of travel. To top it off, they offered me complimentary champagne at check-in—a wonderful touch that made me feel welcome right away! The staff also arranged a late checkout for me, which was incredibly helpful and allowed me to enjoy my stay without feeling rushed. Overall, the service was outstanding, and the little extras really made a difference. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back! Location is perfect as well!

Glimpse Hotel is in an excellent location—walking distance to all the main sights, making it ideal for first-time visitors. The central setting does mean it can be noisy, but that’s expected in such a vibrant area. The service was outstanding—staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent with great variety and quality. A few drawbacks to note: the mattress wasn’t very comfortable, the shower is inside a high bathtub which can be difficult to get in and out, and there’s no real lobby area to relax. Overall, a great base for exploring Florence.

Wonderful experience! Very nice hotel, with great staff! Ovidio was just amazing, he welcomed us, showed us everything we needed to know about Florence on the map, got us reservations for a guided tour of the Acadamia, made dinner reservations, and was so very helpful. At breakfast, Yulia was so nice and friendly. All the staff were helpful, but these two were just exceptional!! The hotel is very nice, clean, comfortable, updated, walkable to most everything in Florence, and not on an overly crowded street. We would definatley recommend and hope to return.

Sanctuary in Busy Florence

We had a wonderful stay at Glimpse. The entire staff were so helpful and friendly including Alina, Yulia, Bernardo and Mario. I could not have asked for a better location. The hotel was just a few minutes from the Duomo and everything else was within walking distance. Also the free breakfast was amazing!

Best hotel staff ever

Really cool, modern meets Renaissance property and conveniently located to the Duomo. The cafe in the lobby area is a beautiful and tasty place for a break between sites. However, the best aspect by far are the staff - I have NEVER met hotel staff this genuinely friendly, thoughtful, and going above and beyond the way that Mario, Alina, and Yuliia do. I've stayed at 5 star hotels that can't compete with this team.

Beautiful stay for a night in Florence. Rooms were larger than you would expect and we had a queen size bed. Well equipped and the front desk was very helpful in getting us places to go. We left AirPods behind and they called us and arranged for us to get them back. Great service!

AMAZING!!! It’s a small boutique hotel with unbelievable staff that go above and beyond to make sure you have a perfect stay. This is the only hotel for me in Florence and the BEST minestrone soup is across the street.

Marta and her staff were perfecto! They were professionals when it came to hospitality. The hotel is small and quaint but that is to its advantage. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The front desk staff - led by Marta - were always available to offer tips and directions. And Yulia behind the bar was ready with a drink or a coffee whenever you needed one. I recommend staying at the Glimpse (which I assume is named because you can get a glimpse of the Duomo just a short distance away) anytime you’re in Florence.
