When we arrived at check in there was no staff, had to wait around for at least 10min after a bit the restaurant staff went to search… Was told that he was in the toilet, but I suspect he was watching the German football game. Also I had understood that the parking was included, but maybe I got that wrong, anyway we had to pay €10 and then drive it down the road to a parking house, not very convenient with suitcases and dog etc. Appart from this the hotel was lovely and modern, in a very nice and convenient location. The only real complaint I have is that the windows are very old and that you could hear everything on the street, I was woken up at 04.45 because of seagulls making noise!!!

Mostly very good

I like the location. Everything is in walking distance. The shower is excellent even for Europe. No A/C can be a problem. Breakfast is very good. Rooms are small. No fridge.

Good bits - but annoying additional charge.

Generally good stay in a nice hotel. Tablet in the room is loaded with loads of useful and interesting information. Room did not have a kettle and when I asked about one I was told that there was no housekeeping on at that point. I was told to get a jug of hot water from the bar - I WAS CHARGED €5 for this jug of hot water…only to find that there was a kettle sitting on a trolley in the corridor outside my room for the entire night. It might seem petty - but I think that was an expense that really wasn’t required.

Everything fine except the climb.

The lift only went up to the second floor, so we had to carry all our bags and suitcases up (and down) another level on a rather narrow and twisting staircase. This was quite an effort and even a little risky at our age!

Der var meget koldt på værelset. Ingen mulighed for at lave kaffe/the. Man havde egentlig ikke lyst til at opholde sig på værelset. Vi har været på hotellet flere gange før, men nogle år siden. Synes tidligere det har været rigtig godt. Vi fik et classic værelse, trods det vi havde bestilt et comfort værelse og også betalt for det… Så det var nok vores sidste ophold der.
