We were a family of nine staying here – 6 adults and 3 children ages 12, 10, 5. Everybody enjoyed their stay. The game room, trampoline, outdoor games and hot tub (especially the hot tub!) kept the kids busy and engaged. And they loved being able to bunk together in the double bunk room (and I think even got some sleep). The beds for adults were comfortable. There were many thoughtful touches throughout - soaps in the showers, TVs in every room, a make-up mirror, a space heaters inside and outside, extra blankets in every room, wood fireplaces inside and out (fire pit). The hot tub was clean and worked well. Management was responsive and friendly. Kitchen was very well stocked with an air fryer, toaster oven and ice maker. The only appliance it didn’t have that we needed was a slow cooker, but we asked about this before hand and brought a one for our needs.Will point out that the clear-glass range hood was problematic for the couple taller members of our party, who kept bumping into the corners while cooking. Initially we laid some dish towels over the corners to minimize unexpected encounters (and utterances!). Then we put pool noodles at the corners, which worked really well. Noting this so other tall guests can be forewarned and be aware of a workable solution. (We left the pool noodles behind hoping management might put them aside for others to use!)Throughout our stay, family kept commenting that we need to book another longer visit, maybe around the holidays.
