Great Spot!

Overall, this property was very clean and well-appointed. We enjoyed our short stay very much! The location is ideal for walking around Fish Creek and being central to the peninsula! (This is not something to include in the review, and I didn't contact the property manager because we were there for such a short time...but if there is central A/C in this unit, it was not working or controllable by the thermostat. We instead went to open a few windows to find that there were no screens on the windows at all. Thankfully, we were all adults so I wasn't worried about safety. However, I also chose not to open the windows so as not to let in bugs! So we were a bit warm overall. As a mom, though, if I had been staying here with little ones, I would have been extremely concerned that if a small child figured out how to open a window, they could lean over curiously and fall right out without any barrier to help prevent it. Just a little note that could possibly help other guests! This doesn't need to be part of a review at all. Just making you aware!) Thank you again!

The Best Weekend!

Disappointed

This unit looks great in the photos, but…. The bathroom pocket door in the room with the twin beds could not be closed. The hook used to pull the door out of the pocket was missing. I contacted the management company and they apologized, but did nothing to correct the problem. The bathroom vents and floor had hair and dust on them and the dining room table and chairs were very uncomfortable to sit at. There is no place in the bathrooms to place any personal hygiene items.

This was our second time staying at the property. It is well maintained and very clean. Instructions were very clear. It is so nice to have the pool on the property and easy to walk to shops and restaurants. We will be back!

Great 4 night stay in Fish Creek

Our stay was great very nice townhouse, clean and close to everything in Fish Creek. Can pretty much walk to the local restaurants as well. It’s a nice drive to either Ephraim or Sister Bay to the north and Egg Harbor to the south. Enjoyed hiking in Peninsula State Park and to the top of the tower. Ferried to Washington Island and a Sunset cruise which we brought our dinner with and drinks. Loved our visit in Door County. also may have left a few things at the house is it possible for some one to contact me?

The Queens

Upon arrival we were delighted with the complex and it’s lovely buildings. Very inviting. And when we entered our unit we knew our stay would be great. It was well supplied with everything needed, and even a surprise or two. We highly recommend Birch Cottage Grove.

Great home and location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Perfect size for my husband, myself, and our 18-year-old daughter, plus we had room for some visiting time with our son and granddaughter. Had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. We loved the pool and the ability to walk everywhere, but still quiet and quaint. Highly recommend!

Fish Creek stay

This property was clean and comfortable. The location was fantastic! But we did not receive any instructions/entry code prior to arrival. I had to track it down through email & phone calls before they provided it. We were hoping to swim, but the pool was empty- maybe too early in the season? Bring your own pillows for sure. No screens in any of the windows for fresh air- had to utilize both heat & air conditioning during our 2 night stay.

Girls weekend

Had a great time, perfect location. Must be new to renting because everything was brand new and in the packages was really nice! The parking/driveway is extremely tight and a little confusing. Maybe post a sign on which two parking stalls belong to the house? We had two SUVs and we couldn’t fit that well and backing up was a challenge due to the houses being so close to one another. BUT there was always parking on the street so wasn’t a huge issue. Neighbor watched our every move and was extremely rude. Otherwise we had a great time and would recommend staying!
