I liked how close it was to St. Andrews golf course. The beach view was spectacula. Breakfast was very limited. Having more options would make a better experience.

Despite it being a very good hotel, and the staff pleasant, the pricing is not always clear from from the start and one feels one has to ask alot of questions to understand what costs what. We found the extra fee (dog package) for our dog expensive at £25, though we appreciated that a dog bed, bowl and dog treats were prepared for him.

Great hotel , in a great location . However, we booked a room with a king bed and we got a room with two single beds pushed together and a thin mattress on top . I kept slipping into the valley between the beds making for an uncomfortable nights sleep.

Hotel is in an excellent position in St Andrews close to golf courses and beach. Room was very comfortable. Evening meal in the hotel was good. Two breakfasts were a bit disappointing - seemed to be pre prepared - not cooked to order which I would have expected from a hotel of this standing.

Wedding party stay

My husband and I stayed 3 nights to attend a wedding in town. We arrived late (1am) due to a flight delay and the receptionist was very warm and helpful on check-in. The room and bed were comfortable and modern, and the bar was enjoyable for a wedding after-party. The location is great, with beautiful views, and we would happily stay again.

Great location, the feeling of premium but tired.

Great hotel, looking a little tired but great rooms and still feels above average. The service at reception was excellent and the guys even lent me a charger for my phone as I was caught short on travel time and ended up staying by here unplanned.

Great service - the heating in our room was not working. As soon as we advised reception of the issue they sent someone to help. Within 30 mins the issue was resolved by a move to another room.
