Staff were very friendly, and the rooms were a great size and very clean which I loved. However, the air conditioning was extremely poor!!
We stayed one night upon arriving in Samoa, then went to Savai‘i, and stayed there again for two nights on our return. Unfortunately, both rooms we stayed in had terrible air conditioning. You can’t leave the air con running when you leave the room because it requires a key card — and only one key card is provided, even though there were two adults staying in the room. This means the air conditioning turns off every time you leave, and when you return, it takes a very long time to cool the room — and even then, it never gets cold enough. The air con units in both rooms also appeared old. It was extremely frustrating, especially in Samoa’s heat.
The breakfast buffet was also very disappointing. The food quality was poor, and if you wanted eggs, you had to specifically request them to be made.
