Your cozy getaway awaits in Fairhaven at this charming house. With two comfortable bedrooms featuring queen beds, guests can enjoy a restful night’s sleep listening to the ocean. The full, 2nd floor bathroom includes a walk-in tiled shower with bench, linen storage, and hair dryer for your convenience. The half-bath on the first floor contains a full-size washer and dryer. There is also a large outdoor shower for use in nice weather. The gas fire-placed living room offers gorgeous ocean views, where you can watch the high-speed M/V ferry go by along with a wide variety of boat traffic. Nautical birds fly right by the deck; besides the usual seagulls, there are opsreys, egrets, herons, and swans in the area. Whether you’re relaxing indoors, outdoors enjoying the view, or getting ready for a day out, the space feels inviting and is well-equipped. There is a private, rocky beach in front of the house, but a sandy beach (Ruth St.) is a short walk away. The town beach at West Island is a short drive and there is the state beach at historic Fort Phoenix. This new home offers a fantastic spot to unwind and is the perfect location for day trips to Cape Cod, the Islands, Plymouth, Boston, Providence or Newport. This is an elevated home with many stairs so is not suitable for individuals with mobility impairments.

What a unique and "cool" place, overlooking Buzzards Bay from a new home built on 15-20' cement pilings! All you could hear were the sea birds and water and the sunrise from the bedrooms was gorgeous. It was a bit chilly on one of the rainy days but the propane fireplace allowed us to be cozy while reading. Well appropriated kitchen and just a few miles from restaurants, grocery stores and roads to the Cape. The host was very attentive when we had unforseen needs. A highly recommended property!

Every piece of furniture and hardware was specifically him pick you could tell someone put a lot of thought and effort into this so when you walk in you say wow and that's what I did wow the views are absolutely gorgeous! warm during the day every single night of Cool breeze comes through the neighbors are friendly ridiculous access to the ocean!! if you tripped and fell you would land in the ocean!!Too many beaches to walk to!!! I had a couple friends come they're still texting me thanking me for the opportunity to relax in such a great place. Thank You Sherry!!!!

The description and photos perfectly displayed just how amazing the house and location were in person. The view was incredible! The house had plenty of options to hang out together or separately. Everything you needed was already there and available for use. Shopping and restaurants were 10 mins max plus New Bedford was just on the other side of the bridge for a day trip. Couldn't have had a better experience or host.
