Room got canceled for no reason.

We arrived to check in and found out our reservation had been canceled. Called my 3rd party and they had nothing in there system about my reservation being canceled. Luckily the front desk attendant was amazing trying to get this issue taken care of. She had 2 suites that came available and she gave us one of them. We went to the room and the bed was broken. So we moved to the other suite she had available. The bed was better but the carpet was torn and stained there was water stains on the ceiling. We were very displeased with everything. Expect for the young lady at the front desk she was amazing. Will not stay there again.

The carpet and mattress’s were old. The place was very musky. The rooms bathroom was not cleaned properly there was something on the floor that was slick and I almost fell. The television picture was snowy and no cabe TV the breakfast food was very greasy. This is the first Comfort inn I have had these issues with. Maybe it should have a complete overhaul.

Great stay for the price!

Great stay for the price. The building is older, but in good shape and clean. The HVAC unit in the room was older but functioned appropriately. Sheets and towels were clean and soft. The mattress was okay, I've definitely slept on worse! Front desk staff was friendly and check in was fast. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was so-so. It was definitely worth the extra nightly rate versus the other hotels in the immediate area. It'll be our go-to when visiting family in the Thomson area.

Yuck

This hotel needs a lot of work. Furniture in rooms (ex: chairs) were old and ripped up. Bathroom (sinks, showers, walls, floors) felt unclean due to age and yellowing. A/C unit had to be off all night since it smelled like burning fish when on. Front desk warned us not all doors in the building worked. Parking felt unsafe.

Pros The staff was wonderful. Very polite, professional and kind. The breakfast bar is the best I’ve seen in years. Check-in was easy and quick. Pricing was fare compared to other hotels when traveling with pets. They had a mini kitchen with fridge and microwave which was completely unexpected. Cons 1. The pair of underwear behind the coach mentioned in a previous review is sadly still there. 2. Sprinkling sented carpet cleaner without running the vacuum in the hallway and spraying the elevator with another potent air freshener and then when on the 1st floor hit with other high potent scented cleaners was an allergy nightmare for someone who is quite sensitive to fake air fresheners. They actually are quite dangerous for anyone with asthma / allergies as it could impact one’s ability to breathe. It was so strong it burned my eyes and the multiple strong smells left me feeling nauseous. 3. I saw 1 roach and 3 Stinky bugs in my room. After doing some research Stinky bugs are harmless and if you leave a light on they will hang around it all night. 4. Refrigerator wasn’t cleaned, sheer curtains had a bunch of stains, torn, and the beat up desk chair had stains all over it. If wouldn’t stay here again unless they improved the cleanliness and stoped using so many chemical airfreshers and scented cleaners. It’s dangerous to my health and simply won’t risk it in the future. Thank you to the staff for being so kind and professional!

Over all the property was average. The TV had no guide so you could not search for a station or view the TV program. Had to endure multiple ads before access to the program was initiated. The breakfast was good and the complimentary travel bag of water and other items was well received.
