We had stayed there once before and was as nice as before, and we were lucky to be given a sea view...all the staff are very friendly and all spoke English..the cleaning team always did a great job and the room and bathroom were excellent in facilities..the breakfast was good, although more suited for Portuguese with Ham and Cheese as savoury choices..a few of the nights it was quite hot and although the hotel did say there was no air-conditioning, there was the unit in the room, although when I enquired - it's not used ??..maybe just for show..we did have a slight issue that the patio door lock was broken, and although mentioned it a few times, no one was available to fix it... luckily those who could have climbed over from next door, never did...so we didn't leave any valuables in the room when we went out.. however we always felt very safe in Portugal..it's also very close to the railway station and the glorious beach...We will stay again.

It's much better than it's 2 stars suggests but you can't expect perfection for the price. It's cheap, great value but it is cheap. The breakfast is limited but there's enough, the staff were lovely, it's clean and close to everything. Ignore the moaners, if you travel frequently abroad, you'll find it absolutely fine.

My weeks stay. Overall acceptable.

Room was very clean, good size bathroom and great shower. Room is a bit small, Wardrobe space is small. We left most of our clothes in the suit cases. We stayed 7 nights. The room is cleaned every day with fresh towels in the bathroom. Rooms need better noise insulation. You can hear conversations and noise from adjacent rooms. It kept my wife awake some nights. Air conditioning would cut out after 20 mins. Went out side and switched the circuit breaker off and on, back working for another 20 mins. We did report it to the reception, but they couldn’t fix it properly. Overall, for the price it’s acceptable and yes I would stay again in the hotel. WiFi was brilliant. If they sorted the noise and aircon it would be excellent hotel.
