What a great property! Cozy, comfortable and relaxing! Loved the bear theme! The stairs to the creek were a workout, but so worth it! Would absolutely stay here again!

Great cabin!

We had a great time! We enjoyed the cabin, the firepit, and even the trek down to the water. Nice, peaceful area, and Convenient to everywhere we wanted to go!

The cabin was very nice. I enjoyed being nestled in the woods and being able to walk down several stairs to a creek. Communication with property owner was helpful and the checkin/checkout was straightforward.

Very relaxing

The deck going all the way down to the creek was a nice surprise. The location was very close to the small town of Epworth. We would definitely rent again.

Great property. Single track road to access was a little hairy but ok after a couple drives. Enjoyed the quiet, shady isolation. The stairs down to the creek were amazing, a good workout. Great location, close to town.

Mayfly cabin

Very nice cabin and quick responses from host when questions arise. The road is a bit rough and very narrow to get to cabin but worth it. For those that can navigate a lot of steps, the view at the river is beautiful.

Great Property

Very nice cabin. Two properties on each side of you but not bothersome. Walk way down to the water was longer than expected, but well worth it.

We really loved it all. Quiet and serene.The steps down to the creek are seriously steep (all 223 of them) for a 62 year old, but well worth the trip. Loved it!

My children and grandchildren wanted to get away for the weekend in the mountains. We truly enjoyed our stay. I found the cabin to be clean and fully furnished with everything we needed. We felt comfortable. It was close to sightseeing and shopping. A great cabin with a great view of the river.

Peaceful vacation

Property was perfect for our little family, only thing as a heads up is do not use Google maps to get there. They gave me a notice about it when they sent door code thankful my significant other has an iPhone since we were already on the way and I didn't have to download another map app on the way.

Very Nice Cabin

We enjoyed our stay here! Cabin had everything we needed and was cozy. Great hot tub! Very nice owners, helped when we got lost getting there. Google maps took us to the other side of the creek. The stairs down to the creek are no joke. This is the only reason we probably wouldn't book again, we would have liked to spend more time down there fishing but the trip down and back was a lot and exhausting. Beautiful property though and private. Thank you for sharing with us.

Great Location

The location was great being between the 2 cities. The stairs down to the creek...do not attempt this if you're out of shape, they're brutal lol. I think we counted 224 lol. We went once, it's beautiful Creekside! The cabin is just as pictured, the space was great for us (2 adult couples). We didn't use the hot tub because the weather was too warm for it. It is fully stocked with about everything you could possibly need for cooking! Hosts were amazing, did extremely well communicating with us! Good experience and would recommend this cabin.

We love it!

We were very pleased with our experience throughout the stay at Mayfly Cabin. The location of the cabin was great for accessing Blue Ridge, McCaysville and Copperhill. We even took a day and rode to Helen. It was about a 1 hour and 20 minute drive but definitely worth it. There is a close neighbor that sales firewood and even delivered it for us. We loved that you could access the creek from the cabin. They guys brought their waders and did some fishing. We cooked almost every day and the kitchen was stocked with everything you needed. The futon upstairs was comfortable for 2 adult guest to use. We would definitely stay here again!

The Creek didnt show any signs of activity, the cabin was small although it had really nice appeal.

Overall we had a fun time! We wished we would've known it was 286 steps from the porch to the creek which was a pain. Also the cabin is small but cute at the same time. Didnt have really good luck on the creek although i tossed out everything but the kitchen sink at them. The water pressure went out our last night while my wife was in the shower and never came back on we then called the owners. I would give this cabin a 3 out of 5 for overall experience.
