I’ve been staying in the same hotel 3 times per year since 2018. We checked in 3 night this past weekend. I was giving the most cheap room! It was room 102. The bed was broken on one side! The pillows were so hard and had a bad smell! The bathroom faucet was leaking! The shower door was broken! The shower was so small like a RV shower! There was no water pressure! In the shower! The next morning I went to reception to ask if I was able to move to a different room. I told her the reason why I wanted to move. The same lady that was there the night before when we checked in was there. She answered me NO! We don’t have any others rooms available on the first floor. She was only offering me a room in the third floor. I answered, I had made the reservation three months ago requesting the first floor. She really did not care what I was telling her!! She answered me so RUDE!!!! I told her we had paid $240 a night we were given the worst room!! and she answered we don’t have a room available on the first floor. There was a lady next to her and she answered, we could move you to room #110 it just needs to be cleaned. It should be ready by 12:00. The RUDE LADY WAS STILL SAYING THE ONLY ROOM THEY HAVE AVAILABLE WAS ON THE THIRD FLOOR. The nice lady did the move. I went back after 12:00. I made the switch to room #110. The room was extremely clean! The room was like night and day from room #102. At the end I was very happy!! Am so thankful to the nice lady! I should’ve taken her name.

The Posada Del Rey Sol hotel is such a great location so walkable! Easy to get to. Close to the Malecon close to great restaurants and coffee. The French restaurant to have breakfast is included and wonderful!

If you prefer location over comfort and amenities, this is OK. The bed was uncomfortable and linens & towels were very used needing replacement. There was constant noise and activity outside the rooms. If you need quiet, rest, and relaxation - this is NOT the place for you.

The room was clean and nice, but there was adiscrepancywith the bed size.we had booked a king size bed, but rceived a queen-size bed instead. Although we slept comfortably, it would have been better to receive what we paid for.
