There is no better location. Right on beach with multiple areas in and around the house to enjoy the view. Our host was very responsive and very helpful with our initial questions about the location. The decor is eclectic and the kitchens and furnishings top notch. I will definitely rent again.

We had a wonderful stay at this home! The location alone makes it worth booking—absolutely ideal. The layout is a bit unique, but it didn’t bother us at all and actually added to the charm. We were a family of five and had more than enough space to spread out comfortably.We really enjoyed all of the amenities, especially the outdoor shower, beach supplies, fire pit, and indoor pool (even if it was a little chilly!). The décor is incredibly unique and memorable—this is definitely a place we won’t forget.The property manager was extremely helpful and responsive throughout our stay, which made everything even smoother. We would absolutely recommend this property to others!

Perfect, home away from home. Our host Lora was wonderful. She even ordered from Amazon a coffee grinder because we only had wholer beans. our favorite VRBO ever; we will be coming back next year and cannot wait. Home away from home everything we needed and more. The outdoor spa was our favorite. Just steps from the beach so you could hear the waves. spectacular sunsets. Loved all the decor, very eclectic and the design and decor/art was our style! Extremely clean.

The host was great, but the property was in serious need of updating and repairs. We were unable to use the pool because the water was 60 with no heat option. The home had a very strong odor.

Excellent communication with the host. The house layout is a little unique, we were a family so it was fine. You need to walk through a bedroom to get downstairs and none of the showers have doors you can close for complete privacy. The pool is not heated and very cold. But no matter how odd the layout of the house is, it is directly ON the beach, very nice views. Shark teeth to get collected right outside your door. As another review mentioned, it is technically a private beach but it's so close to the public one that people were right out front fishing and putting up chairs, umbrellas, and tents. The HOA insists on a gate where you must use your ID to enter by car but they don't bother keeping foot traffic out.

Exceptional value, outstanding views. Great location on a private beach. Close to amenities, restaurants, shopping if you want to leave the beach. Convenience of two kitchens an indoor cold plunge pool and beautiful sunsets.Not your every day, decor, funky, and eclectic. Knowing this house survived the hurricanes last year, it was a pleasure to stay in.Owner and manager very responsive and excellent communication!

We loved everything about this rental. Every detail was amazing, from the location, to the property, to the house itself. My family loved exploring and playing in the "back yard". The outdoor shower/bathtub are what dreams are made of :)

Super fun house with something new and crazy and different in every corner. The public beach spills over in front of the house beach area at peak times as the house is right next to it.

The Best!

I can’t say enough about this property! The home is absolutely gorgeous, spacious and very clean, the decor is stunning and still has that relaxed vibe. The owner was extremely accommodating and even went as far as getting the ESPN package for us. I highly recommend this property and we plan to be back to enjoy the beautiful beach and sunsets. Truly amazing especially for our engagement weekend❤️

Manasota Key Gem!

Fantastic, private property right on the Gulf. Such a unique and fun home. Having stayed at several properties on the north side of Manasota Key, this was worthy of a repeat stay. Despite being adjacent to Manasota Key Beach, which tends to get very busy in the summer, this info was part of the listing and all things considering, it wasn't all that bad on the northern/residence side of the beach. Definitely worth a relaxing wak through the lush vegitation on the property! is

It was mostly fine. House is more than a little funky. Great location, but the house layout makes you go hmmm several times. The most obvious is the internal stairway that forces you to walk through the upstairs bedroom to get to any other room on the top floor. Then, there's the downstairs sink, shower, and toilet all separated by a walk through hallway to the two lower level bedrooms. Finally, the two kitchens seem completely redundant. Outdoor fire ring was enjoyable as was the outdoor shower grotto. I wouldn't pay half the cost for this house if it was in any other location. Being right on the beach has to be at the top of your list of amenities for this property to be considered. Just to be fair, we used this property as three couples. The funky layout of the house would be much less of an issue for a single family with a couple of kids.

Great beach escape

My husband, 2 college aged children and I stayed at this home in June 2024. We chose it because it’s right on the beach and it’s also a 8 minute drive to where my parent’s live in Venice. We wanted a family vacation near my parents so we could spend time with them. The views from the upper level of the home are amazing and we loved hanging out on the upper deck. There were plenty of beach chairs provided and we enjoyed taking long walks on the beach and we collected lots of shells and shark teeth. There was plenty of room for all of us. There are two bedrooms and one full bath downstairs and one bedroom and one full and one half bath upstairs. The upstairs bedroom does not have a door. Rather, it is a curtain that separates the room. The layout and decor is funky but it worked for us. The property is large, tropical and private. It was great to disconnect and spend family time together. One note, the wi-fi is very spotty, cell phone coverage was also a bit spotty and we could not get the TV’s to work. But, we were okay with that. The contact person was very quick to respond with any questions we had. I would stay here again.

Beautiful beach location but very uncomfortable sleep

The Best part of this stay was definitely the location just steps from the beach. The property is surrounded by lush green vegetation - just a wonderful tropical retreat. There are several things that would keep us from coming back. First of all is that the TV, internet, and no electronics that needed Wifi or direct TV worked consistently enough to watch even an ad. Also, the ventilation in the downstairs basement is non-existent. The pool cleaners put bleach in the indoor pool on Thursday evening and the Lower level bedrooms are non-sleepable due to the fumes even with all the doors closed. The beds should all be replaced, they were either way to soft and saggy or way too lumpy. Every night, I worried about where we would sleep due to all poor bed mattresses. The upstairs "bedroom" has no privacy as there are no doors between the bedroom and the living room except for a curtain. Also, the bedroom is a passthrough access to the lower level. We were checking this place out for future family vacays, but unfortunately we won't be back. If these things were addressed, we definitely love the location and would like to stay here again.

Pictures just can’t do justice to this beautiful eclectic home!Every picture, every piece of artwork, every table, every light - all create a feast for the eyes!Upstairs includes a wonderful sitting area to watch the ocean especially at sunset. Floor to ceiling windows. This is where we spent the majority of our time. The spacious master bath is upstairs (however we preferred the king bed downstairs). The kitchen worked just fine for us upstairs but the nicer kitchen is downstairs. There were only two of us but plenty of room for 6 adults.Outside is a tropical garden. It has the most beautiful tropical landscaping and everything was well maintained. The deck has nice furniture and a perfect view.We also enjoyed the outside bath and shower. It is just steps to the beach. Beach chairs are provided. We also had a lot of fun finding sharks teeth on the beach!Location is a great area. It is in a gated community with many beautiful homes. The city of Englewood is near Manasota Key with everything you might need. The beach at the house is great but we also wandered down to road to other beaches and restaurants on the beach.Our contact person was Lora and she very quickly answered every question we had. She was so accommodating to let us check out a little later. We appreciated having her as our contact.The biggest problem with the house and the only reason I can’t give it 5++ stars is the pool. It was dirty on our arrival although Lora offered to come clean it. But the temperature of the pool stayed at 65-68 degrees. There was no way we could use it. There is a strong chlorine smell downstairs (understandable) and the pool comes on for circulation ever so often even in the night (understandable) but these are not as easy to appreciate when we couldn’t use the pool. The sign on the refrigerator says it is heated to 85 degrees so it could be heated and would make it much more pleasurable for guests. Would we come back? Yes!

Private Paradise

We had an amazing time staying here. The best part about this home and property is how much privacy you have. The beach was never crowded. The home is perfect and has just about everything you’ll need.
