In this family-friendly, classic Carolina oceanfront duplex you'll be treated to the perfect setting for your next family vacation, friends retreat, or fun getaway. The downstairs deck is outfitted with a large enclosed hot/cold shower, ample outdoor seating as well as a large picnic table, and a privacy partition. As a south-facing property, you'll enjoy amazing sunrises and sunsets from the upper and lower decks as well as the dune deck at the far end of the walkway which directly overlooks the beach, perfect for enjoying that million-dollar view while sitting and sipping your favorite beverage without getting sand in your toes. A few gentle steps down from the dune deck puts you on the gorgeous sandy beach, unlike many properties that have a very long or steep staircase.
No need to worry about parking or finding the nearest beach access; you'll have your own private, direct oceanfront access as well as ample parking. We allow four vehicles per side (boat/boat trailer counts as one vehicle); if you and your group rent Summerplace East and West you'll be able to park eight vehicles on the property.
Along with quaint, cozy furnishings, and soothing coastal colors, Summerplace is conveniently located so close to dining and shopping. We are on the very BEST part of the island, on the five thousand block with Publix groceries at the eight thousand block, Surfs Up and Bogue Inlet fishing pier just three miles away, tons of restaurants and shopping, and just a few miles from the Aquarium and Atlantic Beach attractions!
The East side has 4 bedrooms (5 beds) and 2 baths and sleeps 9, three of the 4 bedrooms have amazing ocean views, 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 down, plus a full kitchen and family room, 5 smart TVs with Roku streaming and high-speed WiFi allowing you to stream from your favorite streaming account, and USB ports and ceiling fans in every room. It also has both a Keurig and drip coffee pot, brand new Gotham Steel pots and pans, mixers and ice cream maker, toaster, dishwasher, full-depth fridge, and full-size washer and dryer, outdoor shower, and additional outdoor rinsing spigot along the walkway to the dune deck.
Additionally, we have provided sand toys, beach chairs, and boogie boards and a shibumi so that everyone can enjoy a fun day on the beach without having to lug those items with you from home.
