The check in process was very easy and straightforward. However, when we first arrived to the property, the main door was wide open and there was a car parked in the driveway. Come to find out, the cleaning people did not shut the door all the way and the wind blew the door open. The neighbors staying in the adjacent duplex parked their car in our driveway. So to say the least, we were quite confused.Once we checked the duplex and called for assistance, everything was settled and we felt comfortable bringing in our belongings. The rooms were clean and exactly as advertised. One of the reasons we decided to book this duplex was the location and it being pet friendly. We had very quick access walking to the pier and beach. There were multiple restaurants and shops within walking distance which was a plus.We did have an issue with the air conditioner going out, but the host was very quick to have a professional come out and check on it. She brought a window unit for the bedroom (which was very nice) and made sure we were comfortable until the main air unit was fixed.Overall, we had a great week of weather and enjoyed staying in this duplex. It was very quiet and located in a great area of the island. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to be within walking distance to the beach and if you plan on bringing your dog.
