This cabin is definitely in the woods. Absolutely beautiful and quiet. The sound of the creek water along with the already prepared fire pit was amazing. This was also the cleanest home we have ever rented. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Ellijay.

“The Cottage”If you’re seeking a place of refuge where peace, sweet aroma, & beauty fills your soul, then this gem is perfect for you! This amazingly clean and beautifully decorated 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage took our breath away the moment we entered the front door. The cottage provided everything we needed for our entire stay. The furniture and beds were extremely comfortable. As a bonus, we slept so well and peacefully. The creek behind the house was a delight for us. One of the best parts of our stay at The Cottage was our host/property manager, Mr. Kurt. We have never met a kinder cabin owner/property manager. We are thankful for his generosity. From the delightful scenic drive up to the cabin, to the thrills of spotting our little spot of “quite privacy” for 4 days, to anxiously awaiting for coffee time with family sitting by the creek….with each moment here, beautiful memories were made to last a lifetime until next time! By far, the cottage, was the best ever.

Loved the cabin! Master bedroom bed was super comfy!! the stream is right outside the cabin. Wish they had had ESPN on their TV package - but we survived...lol.... Thanks for a super time!

Family getaway

Cute, clean cabin perfect for our family of 5. We had a great time playing in the creek and sitting on the deck in the evenings. It was nice to take a break from technology and enjoy one another’s company. We played cards and chess and enjoyed watching movies together. We will definitely be back.

The only drawback was the distance to shops- about 30 minutes to grocery stores- and the somewhat difficult drive to access the property. We stayed in the fall, however, I would imagine the property could be inaccessible in snow or ice depending on your vehicle. Just something to be aware of.

Modern, super clean secluded cabin

We really enjoyed our week stay at this Ellijay cabin. We had a fair amount of rain the week we stayed here but truly didn’t care as the cabin felt cozy and safe and we had the vacation we needed. We did venture out to Ellijay and the little downtown area which was charming and fun to explore. We also hiked several different days at Carter’s Lake which was very doable and close enough. The cabin was well stocked and the fresh farm eggs and well stocked kitchen was a welcomed bonus. Thank you for a lovely stay. We do highly recommend this lovely cabin.

This is a great place to escape to from traffic noise, busy schedules, and hectic lifestyle. From the large deck you can enjoy the cool nights, lightning bugs, rippling sound of the creek as you eat outside or enjoy a fire in the firepit. The house is equipped with everything you need and is spotlessly clean, bright, and relaxing. The king bed was very comfortable and no outside light to keep you awake. Such a peaceful and serene place!
