Barbie was an amazing host! She gave us updates upon arriving as to entering the house. She left little trinkets for us. She thought of absolutely everything, from dishes, to shampoo, to toothbrushes, condiments, towels. I mean everything!!! The location was nice and remote away from the city, but also not crazy far from the city. We drove to Croton-Harmon and rode the MTA to the city. (Just in case anyone was wondering how to get to the city who stays here) We originally came here to visit bethel Patterson, Warwick, and Wallkill. Patterson was furthest like 1.5 hours so not super far. I would definitely recommend big families to stay here! We also visited the outlets and went to Legoland here. Overall great trip! Just wished I booked more time here!!!

Checking in could not have been easier. The house is bright and spacious with lots of beds. The porches are nice for evening relaxation. We saw and heard quite a bit of wildlife on the property. Walmart and Tops being so close was a big plus. There were eggs in the fridge that expired in December, it's now April and rotting produce and a half finished two litre bottle of Dr. Pepper from prior guests. There were five of us for a solid week and when I asked for more supplies I was told no. The place was not clean, like old toothpaste on bathroom mirrors . There was a very strong diesel smell that the owners came to check out the same day but didn't smell it and saw no urgency. All in all, the place was fine, not exceptional, not horrible.
