Entorno privado en el río Doe. Dos habitaciones, dos baños. Rambler recién remodelado. A 25 minutos del Bristol Motor Speedway, Roan Mountain, Watauga Lake y el sendero Tweetsie. Cerca de ETSU y Milligan College, y ubicado en el centro de la famosa "Docena del Sur" para los entusiastas de las motocicletas. El centro de Elizabethton está cerca. El río Doe es conocido por la gran pesca de truchas, especialmente en el otoño. Contamos con 400 pies de frente de río para pesca y kayak. Absolutely perfect!

We have family in the area and wanted to stay closeby. This was the best VRBO we have ever stayed at, even better than the pictures show! Our kids are obsessed with fishing and LOVED the decor and reading about the history. Books everywhere! Super clean, communication was A. We owned a rental home in the past and it didn't even come close to this. The owners provided treats for the kids. The beds are super comfy. The outside area is absolutely amazing, we enjoyed listening to the river and sitting outside at night. The washer and dryer was very helpful. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the fireplace as it was a short trip, but we just hope this wonderful home is available when we make the trip again!!!

Beautiful home and surroundings especially the deck overlooking the river. Carport was a plus. It kept us dry while packing up while it was raining. Everything we needed for preparing meals was available. The homeowner called to give my husband fishing location tips. We thought that wS above and beyond nice. We highly recommended this property

Fly fishing weekend

From the start, communication was top notch! The house was fantastic and exactly has advertised. Enjoyed fishing in the "back yard" on Friday, we had a blast catching Rainbows and Browns! Love the proximity to Elizabethton, which is where we met our fly fishing guide! Great day floating on the Watauga!!Will be back...thanks for a great weekend!!

This is the first rental I have ever stayed in that is EXACTLY as advertised! The view was the winning feature for us. We were looking for a few days of rest and relaxation- and that's what we got! The house felt like home upon arrival. We weren’t too far from town but away from traffic! The sight and sound of the river running through the backyard was relaxing. Homeowner left detailed instructions and information. We will be renting again next time we are in the area.

Cozy Hidden Gem

We are repeat offenders and plan on keeping that status. Never disappoints, in fact it just gets better with every visit. This sweet home sits right on the Doe River. Very convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. but feels a world away. First steps in the door and you’ll feel you are right at home in this cozy, clean home. Well appointed kitchen. Clean bathrooms with lots of hot water and great water pressure. Super comfy beds and linens Wonderful cowboy grill right beside the waters edge. Very clean gas grill.Comfortable deck furniture overlooking the river. Richard and Diane are the best host. They go above and beyond to assure you have a wonderful visit. Needless to say, we highly recommend Journeys End!!

Right out of a dream
