The host was amazing! Easy to contact and very communicative. The rental had everything we needed and more!!! Everything was very clean, the beds and couches were beyond comfortable. Oh…..and the master shower, spa day anyone? The home is surrounded by stunning mountain views which can be viewed from the porch or from any room in the house. Very peaceful and quiet can’t wait to rent this place again!

Second time staying here to help our son relocating to/from Ft Huachuca. The cleanest VRBO ever! The house was also well stocked, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. Sad to be here to move our kid out, but we would stay a third time if we needed to come back!

This is the cleanest VRBO property we have ever had. Well appointed and organized as well! The kids room was perfect. We enjoyed the views and quiet area. Elgin Escape

Stayed here with my husband for the weekend to see our son stationed at Ft Huachuca. It was about a 15 minute drive to Ft Huachuca. We have rented many VRBO listings. This was by far and away the cleanest and best taken care of rental we have ever stayed in. We also appreciated extra touches such as toothbrushes/paste if we had forgotten ours! The kitchen was well stocked and even had lots of spices to cook with. We will stay here again when we visit in January.

Awesome Home, Central Location For Exploring National Monuments

We put on a lot of miles in 4 days, we visited Coronado, Chiricahua, Fort Bowie, Tumacacori, Saguaro, and Organ Pipe Cactus (on our way back to Phoenix). This location worked well for our day trips and the house was great. Ice Cream at The Corner Scoop in Sonoita was fantastic, as was the wine we picked up from Dos Cabezas WineWorks.The only negative we experienced was barking dogs at night, pretty much every night, most of the night it seemed. They're not right outside your window, so if you're not a light sleeper probably not a deal breaker, if you are bring some ear plugs.

Beautiful property with amazing views!

The house is beautifully & tastefully decorated, open, airy and comfortable. The outside space between the house and the casita was beautiful with all the flowers blooming. It is a very peaceful property. I loved the views of the mountains all around and kept the blinds open during the day. We sat outside often, heat permitting (keep an eye out for spiders and webs). Plenty of room for 5 adults to stay plus 4 additional family members would come for meals. Heather (property manager) was wonderful. I reached out to her about concerns for my son’s allergies and she contacted me right away to discuss. He has a lot of allergies but had no issues during our stay. The house was very clean. I will definitely stay again!

Shared Property

This is a beautiful and well-maintained property with a lovely, well-appointed home. However, an important detail was easy to overlook—the property is shared with another vacation rental. At the time of our stay, this information was deep into the listing’s policies section, near the bottom, and was especially easy to miss when booking through the app. The additional rental on-site is actually the casita mentioned earlier in the listing as an option for large groups and is not really shown in the photos. However, these two units are much closer than expected—about the distance of a house and a detached garage. In fact, we have more privacy at home in the city! The parking arrangement was also unusual. Guests of the main house are instructed to use the garage, but the garage is attached to the casita where the other guests are staying. This felt awkward and intrusive, so we opted to park as close to our rental as possible instead. We visit Sonoita/Elgin frequently and have stayed at many other equally beautiful properties with welcoming hosts, all situated on 5–10 private acres. Given the shared nature of this rental, we don’t feel it offers the same experience for those looking to get away from the city and enjoy some peace and quiet. However, for a large group booking both units together, it could be a great option.
