We were very disappointed in our stay here. The hotel is in desperate need of a facelift. The carpeting in the hallway had lots of wrinkles, creating a fall hazard, especially when carrying luggage and arms are full. The woodwork around the doors and in the bathroom was chipped and in need of painting. The bathtub was stained and looked like it had a nonskid surface at one time, but now it was so slippery and there were no grab bars to prevent falling when entering or exiting the tub. The room also had a musty smell, like someone had left wet clothes lying in a corner. We will definitely book another property the next time we are in this area.

This property used to be A+. Lack of investment and upkeep has it showing its age. Room had musty smell and bathroom had unrepaired issues from a prior leak

Obviously once a top place of luxury and still has loads of charm and beauty. We especially loved our balcony view of the river, the restaurant design and food and the heated pool in late October (indoor with outdoor portion).

Unfortunately, I was having health issues and couldn't enjoy my vacation. Room was nice, but could use updates. Showerhead was very loose and didn't work properly. I don't need an accessible room, but a sturdy handlebar in the shower/tub would be a nice update for older people. The room was clean and the staff was helpful!

The pool was nice and warm, and very clean. The hot tub was large and clean as well. The only drawback of the hotel was it's a bit dated, a bit worn here and there. But, that doesn't make the stay any less pleasant.
