Arenales del Sol is known for its golden sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports. Fancy to go shopping?? We just love Alicante old town and the harbour (port). Both areas are very beautiful and they have a lot of nice shops, and local Restaurants. Or visit Elche. Known for the palm trees. Planted centuries ago and based on a thousand year old agricultural plan. A wonderful 'spot' some of these 200.000! trees is in the ‘El Palmeral de Elche (or Elx)’. With almost three kilometres of fine white sand, the Arenales del Sol beach is one of the most valued on the coast of Alicante, both for the quality of its water and the richness of its marine life, in addition to its dunes, which are embryonic, mobile, semi-permanent, permanent and even fossil. 

The beach is mostly surrounded by the buildings of the hamlet in Elche which gives it its name, with what that means in terms of complementary facilities: restaurants,shops, kiosks, ice cream parlours and a street market (between 15th June and 15th September) on Tuesday and Friday afternoon, where farmers go in order to directly offer their excellent fresh produce; you can also find stands selling clothes and shoes, amongst others. 

Los Arenales del Sol is an ideal place for practice all type of water sports such as surf, windsurf, kitesurf, kayak, banana, paddle surf and sailing. It’s located in Elche, Costa Blanca. This lovely beach is a natural landscape with sand gold dunes and clear blue waters. The excellent temperatures makes it possible to practice nautical sports throughout the year. Your children will love the zoo in Elx too. (riosafari). It has a very beautiful play ground and splash area with excellent pools and very nice slides.
