The house is nicely furnished and has great sunset and sunrise views. However, it was not clean. When I brought this to the owner's attention, she was dismissive and then became hostile and said I left too much hair in the shower and my long black hair was everywhere. Apparently, I was also expected to clean before I left.The biggest issues I had were: 1. One bathtub did not drain well. When I got the water to temperature, I went to let the water in the tub drain before starting the shower and found blobs of shampoo/conditioner floating in the water. I ended up buying supplies and getting the tub to drain and then cleaning it. 2. A bathmat and hand towel both appeared dirty. I thought perhaps these were both just stained (the hand towel looked like it could have be stained with makeup foundation) but I tried washing them anyway, and they came out white and clean. 3. I had to vacuum the floor in all the areas we were (we didn't use the game room or the upstairs bedroom) and the couch, which had pet hair and crumbs (owner refuses to acknowledge despite pictures). I had a few other concerns, but these were the main ones. I would say that if you rent here and have issues, don't expect support from the owner, who went looking for issues with me once I raised mine. She says she walked the house before we checked in and none of these were problems, so I'm wrong. I've stayed in vrbos with issues and still given 4-5 stars depending on owner responsiveness, but cannot here.
