Surprise after Breakfast!

Basic hotel. However, the cleanliness one expects in a German hotel wasn't carried over here. It was clean but not to the usual German standards. The location of the hotel is in the countryside not in a town or city. The surprise after breakfast was that we had to pay for our breakfast. The advert for the hotel said that breakfast was included in the price but they required us to pay an additional cost even though we did not eat anything other than what was provided for all guests.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, dass die Führung und auch das Personal sehr freundlich und sehr nah am Kunden ist, ohne dabei in irgendeiner Weise aufdringlich oder übertrieben zu wirken. Es herrschte immer eine Atmosphäre der vornehmen Zurückhaltung. In der Art war auch das Frühstücksbüffet gestaltet, nicht übertrieben viel, aber von allem genug und sehr lecker. Insgesamt ein seriöses und zurückhaltend sehr freundliches Ambiente in dem man sich als Gast sehr wohlfühlt. Das gilt im Übrigen ebenso voll umfänglich für die Gastwirtschaft. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden gern wieder einkehren, wenn wir in der Region sind.

Die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen. Dafür war das Bad super/ neu renoviert. Leider liegt das Hotel an einer Bundesstraße, darum ist es mit offenen Fenstern sehr laut. Direkt um das Hotel herum gibt es nichts. Man muss schon mindestens 500 Meter bis zum nächsten Ort laufen.
