We recently stayed at this property due to proximity to Aspen Ranch for a wedding and had a mixed experience. The house is spacious and in a great location, and we truly appreciated how responsive the owner was once made aware of the issues. However, we did experience several problems: the A/C didn’t cool below 74F our first night due to a frozen coil, but the owner had it serviced promptly. Cleanliness and maintenance need attention—we found a fingernail on the master bedroom carpet, stained sheets in the twin room, food left in the fridge, several burnt-out bulbs (no spares), and a closet door hanging off its hinge. One bar stool was wobbly and unsafe, and there were no extra blankets in the living room. Several rooms had no lamps, making them quite dark, and the fridge’s water and ice dispenser didn’t work.Seating in the living room was limited; either additional seating is needed, or the upstairs bonus room (which has a sectional) should have a TV. Also, communication before the stay was slow—it took two weeks to confirm bedroom setup. For reference, there are 4 bedrooms: 2 with queens, 1 with a twin, and 1 with a twin and toddler bed—this was not listed in the description. The home has potential and is a good fit for groups, but a few improvements and better pre-arrival communication would really elevate the experience.
