The only positive thing about this place is the proximity to excellent dinning options other than this hotel. We had to ask for proper towels since those provided were barely considered rags. Breakfast although included in the paid price, was horrible. Instant coffee just doesn't do it for what we paid.

Lovely friendly staff, clean and tidy premises, scrumptious breakfast. Stayed two nights, fantastic value and would definitely go back. Just a 10 minute walk to the seafront too, which was a bonus.

Good place to stay at this price.

2 cereal choice (avg) + cooked (gd) bkfast. Meals in lovely rm overlooking excellent, huge , peaceful garden. Personally found all the staff awesome but , whilst sat online in the lounge for a couple of hours before departing, also witnessed them bending over backwards to accommodate 2 separate groups with various issues. I think I had rm 29 (shared bthrm but has sink )- 2nd on left on 2nd flr. - large window seat with distant sea view . Neighbouring occupants seemed quiet sort of folk however at times could hear their voices through (presumably therefore , thin?) walls Excellent wifi. Free parking as described NB times it was full tended to coincide with when free street parking was also difficult. 5min walk to (10min back!) beach Paid £70/night mid Aug

Bitten twice. I stayed in a OYO in Barrow in Furness and it was the same. I can only describe OYO hotels as "Under Par" they tend to be clean but are a little worse for wear. Just that little bit more and they'd be on a par with the Travelodge, you know what I mean, it's not even close to the worst Premier Inn you stayed in... 😳

Worst hotel we ever been to ever

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my recent stay at the Oyo Hotel in Hastings, booked under itinerary number 72064306829366. I am extremely disappointed with the condition of the hotel and the service provided, and I believe it reflects poorly on Hotels.com to represent such a property. Here are the key issues we experienced during our stay: 1. Non-functioning Shower: The shower did not work properly, making it extremely difficult to maintain basic hygiene during our stay. 2. No Ventilation in the Bathroom: The extractor fan in the bathroom was broken, and there was no window or other form of ventilation. For a family of three, this was particularly unhygienic and uncomfortable. 3. Misleading Breakfast Information: A major reason for booking this hotel was the promise of included breakfast. However, we were told that we needed to schedule breakfast appointments in advance. This made it impossible to enjoy breakfast without rearranging our entire day to suit the hotel’s schedule. As a result, we were unable to have breakfast at all. 4. All the sewage water from the building went down on the side of our room and we had to endure the smell every time. Because the room had no air conditioning and no ventilation for the bathroom so we had no choice but to open the windows. 5. Lack of Basic Amenities: The room lacked basic features such as a fridge and a telephone. Any time we needed assistance, we had to physically walk down the stairs to speak to recep

Enjoyed the stay , staff really good and friendly. Breakfast was good ,offered full cooked breakfast, cereal, yoghurt, juices and toast. Could not leave hungry, a lot of breakfast . Our room was comfortable, the bathroom was so big could not believe it with two sinks .

Not vegetarian friendly

The two rooms we had were large, clean and generally comfortable, though a little stuffy and the sash windows in one room were faulty and would not stay open. The big disappointment was breakfast. We had stated when booking that we needed one vegetarian breakfast, and were told at check- in that there would be a meat-free option, but it turned out that the only cooked breakfast was a traditional English and the "meat-free" option was just "don't have the meat". That's simply not good enough for a promised "meat-free" option, and I have no confidence that the other fried items weren't cooked in the same fat as the bacon and sausages.

Value for money

A tidy Hotel with staff that couldn't do any more for you. Basic room, a little black residue around the shower base but other than that we were pretty pleased with the value for money with free breakfast and parking so would use again should we need to return to Hastings in the future.

Tired hotel

Room wasn’t the best, shower had black mould in it, bedside Table was hanging off. Cups available for tea coffee were dirty. Mattress needed replacing. Towels were old. Pleasant check in. I had messaged about being gluten free before hand, but disappointingly no bread available for toast. It was okay just.
