We booked a room but when we were about 20-30 minutes from arriving we received a text saying Expedia had over booked them and they had no room for us. We had to go an hour out of our way to find a room available. We haven't received a refund yet either. We were upset with the property because we had been in communication with them up until the day we were to arrive but we weren't told we had no room until minutes before arriving and Expedia still hasn't refunded our money ( this was about a month ago). Both parties blame the other as the reason we haven't got our money back.

Window didnt open, no a/c so it was really hot by the end of the day. Internet wasnt good couldnt really watch tv, kept going out. Not really a patio as it says, just two chairs out the door. Location good. Not much open in the town except a casino for supper.

Do not stay at this motel. The whole property is shabby and unkempt. Our room was of poor construction. The TV didn’t work and had many strange wires hanging down. On the hot day we arrived, the one window didn’t open and the screen of the other one was torn in numerous places. We refused to stay the second night we had booked. The hotel owner would not refund our money. Terrible place. The only good thing about the motel was the clerk, who was very sweet.

Needs some TLC, but works in a pinch

Couple items to note: aside from the East Glacier Lodge, there aren't an abundance of options. This is an old motel with potential. It's an old motel, and it's ok for a night to last your head. Anything more, is either choose the lodge or up in St Mary (if you're going to Glacier). There are places to eat and Two Medicine Lake is really close, convenience is a plus. The lake is close and it's way less busy than the Going to the Sun Road stops, and the hiking is beautiful.

Got there and sent to another hotel. They said they didn't have room. Drove around two hours looking for a room. Owner wouldn't answer phone, after texting several times to know when we were checking in earlier in the day. Phone went to voice mail, not set up. we went back and were given a small room that they said was a certain amount and charged us almost twice as much, and told us take it or leave it, literally. Owner promised us a refund but stopped answering after texting we'd get a full refund. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE! It is not what you pay! Go ahead and pay a little more and stay some where much better. Beds were ok. No air but you couldn’t open windows bc there were no screens. It didn’t feel like a safe area to go ahead and open windows anyway. The adjoing rooms and small kitchenette were good for our family of 8. THERE IS NO BREAKFAST EXCEPT FOR SOME FROZEN BURRITOS AND KIDS JUICE BOXES! VERY MISLEADING! The towel holder was off the wall. Most lights didn’t have bulbs. Carpet was old and dirty. Coffee,coffee filters, creamer and sugar were just sitting open in styrofoam cups! GROSS!!! Luckily we had brought our own. On top of all of this after asking when we would arrive, we got there and were told it would be another hour before we could check in bc the were fixing damage from the latch people that stayed.

From when we arrived to when we left, we had a wonderful experience. The cabin was compact but spotless, with everything we needed We were picked up from the train station, they got us firewood so we could have a fire, more coffee whenever we asked. Georganne was an excellent host, and I'd stay there again.

Upon arrival, I was told my reservation had been cancelled because they were overbooked by hotels.com. Whoever is at fault, this couldn't be checked earlier? I later saw a message early the next morning as if my reservation was supposed to start the next day? Make sure you double/triple check your booking with this place.

before you book...look at many reviews. we were glad to have a place better than a tent in a storm, but are NOT happy about over all experience. we paid for 2 rooms and tried to reach owner for weeks before arrival, only to only receive a call from owner cancelling one of them on day at least a dozen attempts by hotels.com to reach owner.

This hotel is listed as Two Medicine Inn, but it exists as East Glacier Motel. Hotel does not provide any breakfast as claimed at time booking. Poor communication with customers. Hotels.com was unable to refund me money when I wanted to to cancel booking. Hotels.com was unable to contact them.
