This is a self service hotel where you need to receive a code to get into the building 24 hours prior to check in.
The pros:
- The room was clean and well maintained, supplied with the basics amenities.
- The very convenient location, within 2 blocks walking distance from the central train station and a 15 min walk from the large shopping district, Schadowpl
- The noise from traffic and cars was minimal,
- There was an elevator for easier convenience when bringing your larger luggage
- the manager who assisted me to my room was friendly and polite
The cons:
- The room was uncomfortably hot! The AC did not work and for some reason, the bathroom floor was heated the entire time, so it felt like a sauna in the bathroom. At some point, my feet were starting to burn just standing for too long by the sink. I sleep well usually but had difficulties because of the heat in the room.
- all night there was the sounds of several birds by the window.
- I did not receive a check in code prior, which resulted in me needing to access my cellular roaming service to call the management for access. This is more of a Expedia related issue as there was no prompt to enter your email of contact for the management, nor was there a way for management to contact me (according to the gentleman that helped me get into the building).
Overall, I would not stay here again unless they resolve the heating issue of the room.
