Very roomy and yards from station

Accommodation consisted of bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. All a decent size, comfortable and clean. Not very modern but for the price what can you expect. It is situated a 1min walk from the station which is o my one stop from the Hbf.

I American in duesseldorf

Duesseldorf was having some kind of ProWein fair, as they seem to do all overGermany. When that happens the hotels charge exorbitant amounts. But Kempa Konfort was priced reasonably.it served my needs for two days. It's a long walk to the old city but I did it each day without difficulty. My main complaint is the lack of English language TV stations like CNN and the BBC. Better yet arrange for the TV to provide the English audio for many shows like on ARTE and the History channel. That should be encouraged everywhere if tourists are important to you

Great hotel - but noise from the railway is a prob

I enjoyed my stay and the station was 2 minutes walk away. But I was regularly awoken in the middle of the night by freight trains passing through.

Nice hotel but the rooms were the worst I've had

Really really bad rooms for any price. The app isnt working correctly on my phone and it wi not let me add. I'm not doing a review again.

Hotel is near one of the train stations so it tended to be noisy throughout the night. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was reasonable but the room serving breakfast was small so people had to wait to be seated.

Very noisy and weird room configuration

This is an example of a bad when it is too close to a public transportation station. It is located in a 1 minute walking distance to the S-Bahn station, making it very loud throughout the night. I did sleep well from the fatigue, but I assume that people who are sensitive to hearing will find it hard to fall asleep. The room was weirdly configured; it was a 2-floor roomwith one bed on the 1st floor and other on the 2nd. The stairs to the upper floor was very steep, dangerous, and uncomfortable.

Cheap, well located, very noisy

Hotel is cheap. Well located S1 or S11 from airport for 2.50euro, hotel right outside wehrhahn station. One stop down to HBF, or jump on a tram. Staff friendly. Internet not free even as guest. Breakfast ok, not always refilled (buffet). Bad part for us was that the room was next to the tracks and very hot (no a/c), plus curtain didn't cover anywhere near all of the windows (room 509). Frequently woke up from being too hot, room being too bright, or - most normally - by a train going past. It's ok for the price and if not in peak summer it wouldn't be so hot so windows could be shut and some noise problems reduced.

Because of a conference in the area all the hotels were either expensive or taken, therefore the price paid for this stay was well over priced for the quality of the hotel. In normal circumstances it is probably a fair price for the standard of hotel. The walls are thin between rooms and the bedrooms are very tired and basic. If you only paid 3 star rates this would probably be ok but at 5 star rates it is not great. It is next to a train line- say no more. Staff helpful and everything was clean on the positive side.

Was a late night arrival. There is no staff but key procedure was easy and efficient. Room was small but very comfortable. Great stay.

Great layover stay

I was on a layover before a early morning flight. Short walk from the Central Dusselldorf train station and easy to find for a non german speaker also super convenient to the airport. Nice walk around neighborhood with some great little restaurants and shops. Train tracks in the front were little noisy but it didn't bother me so if you sleep light ask for a back room. I would stay there again.

Good value hotel

Just round the corner from S-Bahn station Wehrhahn. If you're bothered by the rumblings of the freight trains (the regular electric trains glide by with hardly a sound) ask reception for a room at the back. Breakfast was all you'd expect from a continental breakfast and goes on till ten so no need to get up early. Room was well appointed, beware of the nuts & water bottle on the desk, they constitute the 'mini-bar' and if you have any you'll have to pay for them. Bathroom had a great shower with gel dispenser included and hairdryer. In short very accessible, reasonably priced and in my mind good value for money
