The property is based around a lot of open land, but in a good area close to the casino close to stores things are but most of all the staff was excellent. I took my 89 year old mother four days to Oklahoma and we stayed at Hi-Lo Hotel in the staff was tremendous no matter how people look at it. Low budget, but the staff very respectful thank you for great hospitality Jay and Christine thank you if I say someone’s name wrong forgive me but the manager the guy

Property was very cute and stylish. There were definitely some deep cleaning that needed done in our room, but it wasn't that bad overall for cleanliness. It was just down the road from the casino which was what we were looking for. Would recommend for a low cost stay near Choctaw.

Compared when I stood there a few years I usually go 2-3 times year cheaper than staying at the Choctaw. Seems to be getting worse over time and more expensive. This time they had mold in the shower and barley any hot water. Cold shower in the am not cool.

Hotel is nice. Under renovations. Our bathroom had something all over the shower and walls. And we had a dirty towel on our bed when we checked in. It wasn’t terrible, but wasn’t necessarily clean. Breakfast was great the first night, but the second night it was like a third of the food was left, and everything was empty. No one was at the desk when we went to ask questions. I did use the gym and it was very very nice!

The hotel floors were all ripped up and covered in brown paper. The elevator had what appeared to be dried urine and also made god-awful clunking sounds when it raised and lowered. Worse still was that we found a used syringe in our room as we were looking for a plug in near the bed. There were built in plugs in the alarm clock but it didn't work. The Big Joe bean bag in the room was stained up - looked like bodily fluids. When we walked in the hotel to check in, there was no one around. We ended up having to call the hotel phone number to get someone to answer to come to the front desk and check us in. Long story short, we will never stay at a Hy-Lo Ascend Hotel ever again. It was sketchy at best and disgusting at worse. The breakfast was also trash - biscuits hard as a rock and the meats were not quite meat.
