The only positive things are (1) the close proximity to the airport and a commercial plaza with restaurants and (2) friendly staff. As far as the rest goes, I was fairly disappointed. The room was stuffy, the carpet was dirty, and the toilet was not flushing well. I would not recommend it to anyone.

A nice stay with a nice price.

Pros: Nice location, price and very comfortable beds.
Cons: Add air conditioning and free parking.
The location was good, close to shops and places to eat, not right in the city but close enough for our needs. The rooms were clean, quite & comfortable. Air conditioning would be a nice addition to this hotel. I would stay here again.

Hotel close to airport

Pros: Close to the airport
Cons: Friendlier customer service
The hotel is near the airport. We went to check in, it was late. I was told there was no first floor rooms, which was fine, I was given a key and we went to the room. I opened the door and there was towels on the floor and the beds were not made. We went back to the lobby and told him about the room situation and we were given a room on the first floor that was clean. There was loud arguing in the lobby bathroom which was kind of weird that no one did anything about it. The free wifi was also down and they did not know how to fix it. The room was clean we were just staying for one night.

Clean hotel close to airport; had airport shuttle

We arrived very late, friendly and helpful reception staff. Room was clean and comfortable, but basic amenities. Proximity to airport for early morning departure was great, especially with the shuttle bus available...minimal cost of 2 euro's/person.

Great place to stay for a few hours between flight

Pros: Proximity to the airport
Cons: Rooms could be updated and more towels in the bathroom
Location: Did not explore - only had 10 hours and needed to sleep
We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and Travel Lodge has a great reputation. The room was adequate for our needs for the time of our layover in between flights.

It's inexpensive...for a reason.

Pros: The staff tried to be helpful under limiting circumstances.
Cons: Communicate better which amenities are and aren't fully available.
Location: It's fairly near the airport, but would not be a great location for seeing Dublin.
I booked this hotel because it was reasonably priced, close to the airport, and had a shuttle and free wifi. By the time my flight arrived, the shuttle was no longer running. In the morning when I needed to go to the airport, the shuttle was on an hour and a half break (from 8:30-10:00am??). So, I ended up paying almost 30 euro in cab fares. Suddenly the hotel isn't that inexpensive anymore. When I arrived, I wanted to buy some water. Their machine only took coins, but the desk had no change. I said I would just drink water from the tap, but they told me I'd have to boil it to be safe. The staff did go out of their way after that to get me some filtered water from the restaurant (which was closed), and then get some change from a nearby store, so that was very nice of them, and on the whole the staff was good; they just didn't have much to work with. The room was clean but very basic. It had an old-style key that was very difficult to unlock. Only an emergency phone in the room so if you need the desk you have to go downstairs to talk to them. No washcloths, hairdryer, or alarm clock. I also couldn't connect to the internet. I'm very glad I wasn't staying here longer than one night.

You get what you pay for.

Pros: linens were clean
Cons: everything!
Location: Cramped car park, not safe walking to anything, poor outside lighting.
Noisy, very much in need of a complete renovation, felt cramped and like staying a maze - actually made sure I checked the fire escape routes - would NEVER stay more than one night - except had early AM flight at airport. VERY noisy people at 3, 4, and 5AM! Bed linens looked clean and fresh - other than that - very disappointing. Staff did not seem very warm or welcoming.
