Easy access to the airport, and free shuttle. But parking at the hotel is really expensive. This place is primarily for business travelers if vacationers needing a close place to the airport this is ok. But it is very expensive. Staff was friendly. Not the best value.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. I am happy you liked the stay and the staff of the hotel. The hotel parking is one of the cheapest around the Airport. We also have plenty of mixed guests staying here due to the convenience of our location. Thank you once again for your review.

Excellent airport hotel

I have used this hotel twice. I like that I can walk there easily from the airport. There is a shuttle option if you want to ride instead of walk or if you have a lot of bags. The staff was friendly, checked me in quickly and the room was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. I will stay there again on my next return through Dublin.

Hotel very close to Dublin Airport

Pros: The close proximity to the airport.
Cons: Our room was a little warm and it took some time to cool it off.
Location: Location near the airport is what got us to book there. Other then more hotels I really didn't see much more to do in that area.
The checking in experience was fine. The room itself was a little warm. Turned on the A/C and it really didn't change much so had to open the window. After that the temperature was fine. Room was clean and comfortable . The bar and the bartenders were excellent with good banter and a friendliness about them. The shuttle was right on time to get us to our destination.

Nice hotel close to airport and city transportatio

Being at this hotel with free shuttle to the airport less than 5 minutes away gave us (1) easy access to transportation into the city of Dublin each day for a round-trip cost of €12 and (2) easy access to the airport when we were flying home.

Mediocre for the price

First of all the front desk staff although understandably busy for the time of night we came in we're not terribly excited about helping us. We had to ask two people before we were helped.. I really expected a much more comfortable bed then we got although it look nice the mattress Was An Old Spring type mattress. Expected more for the price, although it was exceptionally convenient for leaving an early flight the next day. Dinner was excellent by the way in the restaurant although the views outside we're not impressive.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking your time to post the review. I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed your dinner in the Apron Restaurant but was disappointing to read that we failed to meet your expectations in bedroom as well as the views outside from the bedroom window. I am sorry that upon your arrival reception was very busy and you were not looked after immediately. I will share your feedback with relevant departments so we can only improve. Once again, please accept my apologies and I hope we do have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future. Kind Regards, Rita Osadcija Duty Manager

Walking distance to the airport.

We had an issue with our 1st room with the toilet. The front desk was accommodating and said we could be upgraded to another room. There actually was no difference in size. This did not bother us as we now had a functioning toilet. Later that evening my daughter went to use the shower. They suggest the rubber mat go on floor during shower. There were two poop balls on the mat. I carefully picked up the mat & put in hallway. We should have complained about this. We didn't since we already received a new room for a broken toilet in the other. We were not comfortable with the cleanliness of hotel. Had we not had issue with the poop balls we would have given the hotel a fantastic review.

Excellent hotel right at the Dublin Airport

Pros: the location, the staff and the restaurant
Cons: nothing
Location: n/a
My wife and I stayed at the Maldron for one night which was a godsend to us. We missed our flight back to the states from Healthrow and I had to piece together a return trip. The first thing was getting a flight to Dublin and staying over night in Dublin. I chose the Maldron and was very glad I did. The location could not have been better, right at the airport. The hotel staff were not only extremely professional but made us feel right at home. The Acorn restaurant was excellent. We arrived around 8:30 and the desk clerk asked if we needed to have dinner. We said yes and she immediately picked up the phone and made a reservation for us. The food was excellent. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable and we enjoyed our one night stay very much. All in all, our experience at the Maldron made a very difficult situation somewhat more bearable.
