The hotel is clean and modern. All the staff we encountered were warm and friendly - reception suggested taking on-street taxis rather than Uber, as they said were just as safe and cheaper - whilst apprehensive of their advice, they were right! It's located in the JBR area, so it's walking distance to other restaurants and shops, if you fancy exploring the local vicinity. The gym is well equipped and the equipment is the same/comparable to some standalone gyms. We visited the spa for massage treatments which was excellent - book in advance. The bar/cafe and restaurant had a variety of options which catered to most tastes - couldn't fault the quality. Whilst they have an area on the beach designated for guests, the number of loungers are limited. There is space within the grounds, but note the music will be louder and constant.

From the moment we arrived at Rixos, we knew we were in for something special—but the experience still managed to exceed our expectations in every possible way. The standout for us was the impeccable room cleaning and attention to detail. Every day, we returned to a room that looked brand new—freshly made beds, spotless bathrooms, and even small, thoughtful touches like carefully arranged toiletries, folded towels, and a perfectly organized space that made us feel genuinely cared for. The housekeeping staff clearly take great pride in their work, and it shows. It’s rare to find such consistent, high-standard cleanliness, and it made our stay incredibly comfortable and relaxing.
