The Occidental Dresden is in a great location. Only a short walk from the main train station and surrounded by shops, cafes and restaurants. The Christmas markets and old city are also close by. Rooms at the hotel are on the small side but the bathroom was functional and a good size. The biggest issue we had was the poor quality of the pillows. They were awful, no support whatsoever. Breakfast was very good.

The room was modern and spacious and clean, the bed very comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I felt very safe here. Close to the train station and shopping, walkable to historic sites, this restaurant was perfect and I'd definitely stay again if i return to Dresden.

We arrived quite late at night and left the next day, so we didn’t have the chance to fully enjoy all the hotel’s amenities. However, the location is excellent — very central and convenient.
