Main floor with open space features a living/dining room with flat screen TV. Well equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing your favorite dish and sliders to private deck with gas grill make cookouts a breeze! Second level offers 3 roomy bedrooms. Primary bedroom has king bed, flat screen TV, large walk in shower. Additional bedroom with queen bed and second bedroom with a full size and twin sized bed - both have flat screens and share an additional full bath. There is plenty of parking for you and your guests.

Downtown Douglas is less than a three minute walk and offers a perfect variety of dining, shopping, coffee and cocktails. Rent kayaks and paddleboards to take advantage of the nearby Kalamazoo River or take to the kiddos to the playground two blocks from the condo. Watch incredible sunsets on recently built beautiful outlooks at Douglas Beach (only five minutes by car or a 1.7 mile walk on the paved paths) and the legendary Oval Beach is 2 miles. Both are close to the iconic Root Beer Barrel restaurant or Woosah Coffee shop where you can shop, dine or rent bikes and beach equipment.

We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and easy to find. Minutes from everything in Saugatuck and Douglas so the location to the restaurants and shops was really great. We really couldn’t see the water from the location and there were tiles missing from the floor of the shower in the bedroom which is why I only gave four stars for those categories. Host communication was quick and gave good recommendations for places to eat with kids. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful place to visit. The house was perfect for mom and dad and my wife. Easy access to downtown and the restaurants were great! The reason for 4 stars is because the floor in the master suite was damaged and for the high amount we paid I would expect perfect. Didn’t want to mention that because everything else was perfect.

Excellent experience! We did a girls trip and had a great experience. The place was super clean and had all the amenities needed with good patio place to sit outside and enjoy a drink, walkable to Douglas downtown and short distance drive from Saugatuck and the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your townhouse this weekend. It was beautiful accommodations. Only thing we wish was different was we couldnt figure how to work TV's but was most likely "operator" isses...LOL..as they were smart TV's n we are not that computer literate. Highly recommend this VRBO accommodations!

Cozy condo; great location

We stayed here while visiting family and friends around Christmas. The location was perfect; close enough to both Holland and Glenn. We enjoyed discovering the trail to the "Crow's Nest" a short drive (~ a mile) away.

Nice Condo in Douglas

The property was well kept and clean. Check in process was easy and property owner was responsive to questions/concerns. Location was within walking distance to downtown Douglas and 5 min drive to downtown Saugatuck. Would recommend staying here for a quiet family getaway.

Excellent Condo!

I was very happy with the entire process of booking this property. Communication from the owners was outstanding from the start. Questions were answered immediately and we were very confident going in. The property itself was perfectly located for an easy walk to downtown Saugatuck as well as Douglas. The house was spotless, and really well set up and located in a beautiful area close to the water with amazing gardens. Everything worked well and we were able to secure a much appreciated early check in. Simply outstanding and we will most certainly book again for future stays in the area!

Long weekend in Douglas

We had a wonderful time in Douglas / Saugatuck. The condo was in a great location: just a couple of blocks from shops and restaurants in Douglas and a little over a mile from Saugatuck. It is also just a mile from Douglas Beach. The condo was very spacious. We felt like we had enough room for 6 adults. The beds were comfortable and it seemed like the linens were new. Everything was clean when we arrived. Communication before we arrived was excellent. We didn’t have any issues during our stay so we didn’t need to contact anyone during our time in the condo. We will book again!

Walking distance to Douglas

We had 4 adults and a 5 year old staying here for 4 nights. The townhouse was clean and had just about everything we needed (even beach towels). It is an easy walk to Douglas and a couple of us walked to Saugatuck (best to do this since parking there is just about impossible Thursday- Saturday). Jack was quick to respond and check in was a breeze. The townhouse is in need of some repairs, but nothing that negatively impacted our stay. One thing to note for new visitors- Douglas does not have a ton of kid friendly restaurants. Obviously that could be a plus for some and a negative for others.

Most amazing host, quiet neighborhood

I have stayed at a lot of VRBO homes and I have to say this host was the most delightful to work with. The communication was superb, I really can't rave enough about Jack. The home is beautiful and easy to access in a quiet neighborhood. The home was clean and a good size. Laundry and dryer worked well and so did the fridge and dishwasher. The only thing I will mention is the top bunk in the bunk bed room is probably not suitable for most younger kids. There isn't a high enough railing, as the mattress is pretty high, so it would be easy to roll off if your kid is a restless sleeper. My teen daughter said the bed she used was the most comfy bed she has ever slept on. I felt the same way about the master bed. If we return to the area, I won't even bother looking at other homes. Thank you for all of your help, Jack!
