Einfach genial!
Wer etwas Besonderes erleben will macht Urlaub in dieser Windmühle. Erstaunlich wie die Inhaber Originalität mit Komfort verbunden haben. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt.

Liebe Familie Bradford und Serviceteam, Ein herzliches Dankeschön für den weihnachtlichen Empfang mit Wein und Konfekt und der weihnachtlichen Ausschmückung. Wir fanden eine Top saubere Mühle vor, in der wir uns 1 Woche sehr wohl fühlten. Trotz etwas Regen,Wind und Wolken erkundeten wir per Fuß die Ditmarsche Moor Landschaft und freuten uns immer wieder auf die wohlig warme Mühle zum Genießen und Entspannen. Wir wünschen Ihnen Allen ein gutes erfolgreiches Neues Jahr 2024 mit vielen Grüßen D.Langner, Hund Timo und W. Rösner.

Entspannung und Gemütlichkeit
In der Zeit von 2004 bis 2016 besuchte wir die Mühle genau 20 mall. Ob Frühling Sommer Herbst und Winter auch Weihnachten und Silvester war die Mühle unsere Herberge. Wir fühlten uns in Fortuna immer wohl und geborgen trotz manchmaliger Eiskalte Tage. Dann kam die Zeit dass der Alte Mühlebesitzer aufgrund seines hohen Alters und gesundheitlichen Problemen es nicht mehr schaffte die Mühle zu bewirtschaften und war gezwungen Fortuna zu verkaufen. Es war nicht einfach jemanden zu finden der die Aufgabe eines Mühlenherren übernimmt. Heute nach 6 Jahren, wo wir in der Mühle wieder Gast sein durften, können wir sagen es ist dem alten Mühlenherren gelungen einen neuen würdigen mühlenmeister zu finden. Durch die zahlreichen Renovierungsarbeiten wie zum Beispiel der Heizungsanlage mit der Fußbodenheizung im Absackkeller, wo es früher sehr kalt war, und vielen anderen Erneuerungen hat Fortuna noch mehr an Wohnqualität gewonnen und hat keinerlei an Ambiente verloren im Gegenteil sogar dazu gewonnen. Für den mutigen Schritt danken wir Ihnen, den neuen Mühlenbesitzern Maja und Sven Bradford und wünschen Ihnen viele schöne Tage in der Mühle und immer eine belegte Fortuna. Zum Schluss möchten wir uns bei Frau und Herrn Bradford bedanken für die schönen Tage in der Mühle Fortuna. Glück zu Elke und Uwe

Historisch moderne Ferienwohnung
Die Mühle ist sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Bilder sind authentisch. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Alles was man braucht und sich wünscht findet man in der Mühle. Die Lage ist ruhig und entspannt. Ein Bäcker ist um die Ecke, fürs Einkaufen, Unternehmungen und Spielplätze muss man jeweils mit dem Auto fahren. Auch mit unserem 3 jährigen Sohn waren die Treppen/Leitern ein Erlebnis, aber kein Hinderniss.

Ruhe und Erholung
Die "Alte Lady" ist ein Träumchen! Die Verschmelzung von Alt und Neu wurde hier mit sehr viel Liebe umgesetzt. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Vielen Dank, dass wir für kurze Zeit in dieser ungewöhnlichen Unterkunft Gäste sein konnten.

Schöne Tage in der Mühle
Wir hatten schöne Tage in der Fortuna, einziger Wermutstropfen war die sehr steile Treppe in den obersten Stock, die wir als 60+ Gäste nicht problemlos meistern konnten. Wir konnten uns aber behelfen, indem wir Spannbettlaken für den ersten Stock besorgt haben und dort schliefen. Beim nächsten Mal müssen wir uns die Beschreibung einfach noch genauer anschauen!

Das etwas andere Ferienhaus
Die Mühle ist ein ideales Ferienhaus für 2 Personen. Die Räume sind wirklich gut aufgeteilt und es ist alles vorhanden, für einen entspannten Aufenthalt. Das runde Bett auf dem Mühlrad ist sicherlich ein Erlebnis, auch wenn der Weg dorthin nicht ganz so einfach ist. Hätte es noch eine Unterstellmöglichkeit für die Fahrräder gegeben, wäre der Urlaub perfekt gewesen.
