Nice hotel. Good food in restaurant. We were in the accessible rooms on ground floor. Bathroom was nice but it was a wet room which didn’t drain properly. So entire bathroom floor was floating in water after shower. Apart from this was a nice stay.

Beautiful place. I was here for a wedding and it was a truly amazing experience. It also smelt wonderful due to many diffusers. I loved it and would happily return. Excellent breakfast too. I was in the newer part - comfortable bed lovely room though a small window. My only gripe is the room coffee. Fabulous range of quality teabags and biscuits but only sachet coffee. Strange!! Brilliant place though

Family wedding

A beautiful wedding venue and we were looked after so wonderfully. The staff were attentive at all times, nothing was too much trouble. Enjoyed the use of gym and spa facilities. Breakfast in restaurant was outstanding. Overall a fabulous weekend stay. Would highly recommend.

Interior design and decorations give it an elegant vibe. Clean and well-thought-out spaces throughout the estate. The grounds were in pristine condition. I stayed in a standard double room. The room and toilet were clean. The only thing that could have helped was a few wall hooks for coats or clothes.

Very nice stay with fairly basic room but comfortable. Very hot in the room but quite cold around the restaurant/bar areas. Slow bar service due to wedding guests ordering drinks. Restaurant food was very nice and great service. Lovely grounds & weather made the weekend pleasurable.

Hotter than July!!

Despite cool conditions outside, the room (on 2nd floor) was uncomfortably hot. Opened window and fan provided no restbite so it resulted in one of the worst nights stays. Poor explanations offered so we won’t be coming back. Very disappointing..,

Great but rooms are INCREDIBLY HOT. The weather wasn’t particularly hot but the rooms just seem to hold in heat. I had to move rooms and have a fan on. The hallway was considerably cooler. I considered sleeping with the door open! That said it may be because the rooms are over the pool / sauna. The food was very average. Staff and grounds were great!

Beautiful place and setting. Options for long lovely walks around the estate. Restaurant for dinner was lovely so to was the service, however limited options for vegetarians or vegans which was disappointing considering we stayed for a few nights. We ended up going to local town for dinner and lunch.

Gorgeous setting but room was too warm

The room was lovely. Clean all round. Toiletries and hot drinks supplied. Only downside was the room was so warm we needed to put the fan on quite a lot. Breakfast was great - not enough staff on though clearing tables.

The hotel itself is in some beautiful gardens. Peaceful. The only problem was the sheer heat in the bedrooms. No air on, but, were given a Dyson fan which barely helped. Staff at breakfast were overworked and couldn't keep up with many demands like fixing the coffee machines that regularly broke. I

Amazing outdoor spaces!

Picturesque hotel, with a traditional feel and a lovely garden/terrace to enjoy a drink outdoors. The room was standard, no fridge, food was ok, gym had rusty equipment and the overall service could be more attentive to enhance the experience. On the whole it was a nice stay but could be improved.
