Cosy cottage in a pretty village with a pub at the end of the garden!

Gamekeeper's Cottage is part of a collection of 4 tastefully renovated holiday cottages which can be found in the pretty village of Buckland Newton.
The cottage over looks the stunning gardens and included in the stay is use of the shared heated outdoor pool (May to September).

The cottage has a good size lounge and dining room with comfy seating set around a log burner. The kitchen has been thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities you would expect including a full-size fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and Nespresso Coffee Machine.
Upstairs all beds are made up with high quality white linen, non-feather pillows and duvets and super comfy mattresses for those lazy mornings in bed. The large rainfall walk-in shower is an added luxury and fluffy white bath and hand towels are provided. We do advise guests to bring an extra towel to use for the swimming pool.
Please be aware that there is a step down from the sitting/dining-room into the kitchen and from the kitchen to the outside patio. The staircase is quite steep and narrow. As you would expect in a property of this age, there are some low beams and lintels which all add to the character of this gorgeous cottage.
From the kitchen door at the back of the cottage is your own private patio with table and chairs and bbq (bbq coal can be provided at a charge) overlooking and leading onto the gorgeous communal gardens.
Guests are encouraged to explore the beautiful and well stocked country garden; you’ll be sure to find a sunny spot or shady corner to relax with a book.
We can provide baby/toddler items; such as travel cot, highchair, booster seat, step, bedguard, etc. Just contact us to let us know should you require anything.
You can rent the cottages individually or take over more than one for a larger group booking. Dominey’s Yard can sleep a total of 18 guests, accommodated in 3 x 2-bedroom cottages and 1 x 3-bedroom cottage. We went here for a short family break in February - my wife and two kids (7 and 3).The cottages are perfect in every way, and have everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Adele and Nigel are great hosts and also kindly put out a load of kids toys, booster seat and stairgate ahead of our arrival.The cottage was very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Being February the weather was not great (as expected), but the cottage was very cosy in the evenings with the log burner going.Having a good pub literally at the end of the back garden was also an extremely welcome benefit!We will certainly return if we're ever back in the area, and can highly recommend for families or couples alike.
